There seems to be something missing in this video...it starts with "That's it for today, hope you enjoyed it and as always - take care and I'll catch you next time". Jingles was probably so thrilled by the ending of this battle that he somehow forgot the ending of his video :)

American BBs tend to have a lot of secondaries with good range, good armour, and accurate, hard-hitting main guns. Hence why if it weren't for the upcoming update that buffs German BBs, I would probably scrap my Bismarck. And I do agree that ship is good but not OP. Jean Bart on the other hand is the bane of my existence in WoW.

Bismarck is still a pretty paperweight in my port, wouldn't scrap/sell the ship just for that, same with Yamato, even if that's actually good, it's about as useful to me as legs on a fish.

I breathe Napalm Well, ish. For the most part, American battleship secondaries are average at best, even when specced into. German and French battleships outperform them comfortably, and if I remember correctly, the Japanese do too. The Massa is an exception, as Wargaming designed the ship into...well...this. The premium battleship that makes Bismarck obselete.

The U.S.S Massachusetts is a beautiful museum to visit in person. I the the chance to visit my first time when I was much younger and a number of the original crew worked as curators. To see where the deck was repaired in wartime due to plane attack and to sit in some of her guns was just awesome.

Got a chance to take the USS Massachusetts tour in about 2012 or 2013, anyway, spent about 4-5 hours there on the tour. And the old soviet Udaloy (if memory serves) that they had there too. Really great museum and exhibit all around. There were a bunch of Navy ROTC kids forming up on deck at the end of the day, they were staying the ship that night as part of an excercise/fun thing. Man I was envious!

Mingles, I play on the Asian server and for the last few days, have been trying to complete the 'Hunt for the Black Containers' missions. Today, I'm so happy as one of the containers gave me a black Massachusetts B. I'm sure lots of people have got it too, but just wanted to share my joy :)

10:00 - 13:30 so many missed opportunities.... looking around to be aware of the situation is key, yes. but thats why we got right mouse button for... he didnt use his guns for an eternity... and instead of shooting a nelson who was angling he should have fired at the Anshan to finish him off. Yes, shooting a DD is a high risk-high reward situation, but its still worth it. There were so many mistakes done in this battle, the lead/aim was off, the guns are not used to their full capacity... still it was a good result and still a great commentary

You idjit, komrade Jingles doesn't live in a free country that allows its peasants to go around owning firearms all willy nilly! He hails from the rainy, gloomy rock off the coast Britbongistan! Even if he is retired navy, the most they'd probably let him own would be a break-action single shot .22 rimfire rifle and maybe an over-under shotgun in .410 bore or possibly a more powerful 28 gauge model. Something as powerful and technologically advanced as a pump-action tube magazine fed shotgun is far too scary to trust the citizenry with, why they might try to assert themselves and demand things like 'civil rights' from their corporate overlords er, I mean government. Komrade Jingles would be much more likely to go after you with a cricket bat, possibly with nails hammered through it.

I just like any videos on this ship because even before ships could be my waifus, this one was in a way. She’s the closest Capital ship to where I live, being located about 2 1/2 hours away in Fall River, MA. My family has a cottage in Plymouth, so my father and I used to visit her and the others all the time. I was raised to have a particular love for her. And if they ever add her to Kantai Collection you’d better damn well believe I’m fishing up the 700¥ for a ring if she’s any good, and raising hell if she absolutely sucks (thankfully you have to screw up pretty badly to disappoint me).

One thing at the beginning of the video. The part about camping while the majority of the team gets decimated on the other side of the map. When I play it's usually the opposite. When I start in the direction that other ships are going, I end up being the only one actually on that part of the map within a few minutes, then have certain teammates bitch at me because I got stuck on the side with the most enemy ships and no cover

That salvo at 6:10 is something I’ve never seen before in WoWS: all 9 shells of a battleship salvo hitting and penetrating the target. Far more often I see the results of the very next salvo (6:40), where only one penned and somehow the other 8 missed completely

Over the weekend I had a nice match in the Colorado. So many DD's for get smoke does not hide you if the BB is too close or for me the nice radar cruiser behind me. At some point the secondaries took out the Mahan, while I was face tanking the Massachusetts and New Mexico. Mean while the Atlanta was showering both of them with HE keeping the fires roasting.

NC has the same shell velocity as Mass, it’s Iowa and Montana that have longer barrels and thus higher velocity. Also, Nelson has only 25mm of bow plating, not 27mm. That means you only need a 15-inch gun to overmatch it. The same applies to all tier 7 BBs (except Sinop which only has 25mm on the top half of its bow, thus making citadels from the front very hard to get)

I would like to note that it's entirely possible the enemy Normandie was just bad at math and didn't think being killed would be enough to swing the points lead away from his team. I prefer this interpretation because, honestly, it's much more amusing to picture the "oh shit" moment that he would've then presumably had when the word "defeat" appeared on his battle results screen.

The Massa has the same guns (and shells) as the NC. It trades accuracy for better secondaries, heals, and AA. It is a better ship than it's tech tree counterpart (as is not too uncommon for non-IJN premiums).

Entertaining battle and, although mistakes were made, this battles lasted, at least, more than 5 minutes. Yes, now the rant part: why is the norm now, in higher tiers, 5 minute battles plus 2 minute of clean up, with one team melting like a buttery and useless pack of cheese in the sun?

Normally because one team hides 1/2 of their ships behind islands from 2 ships, the rest of the team get butchered by the enemy team that is not camping and then the team decides to go one at a time out from the islands until the game is over :)
