Performances of this old U-boot are insane. It goes in the deep and to surface like a fighter plane, runs like a hell and reloads torpedoes like rifle.

I can't wait for the Subs to get released. I was out of the loop when they did Pub Test for these and I have been kicking myself for not getting to operate one. I wonder. When you sink a ship with a submarine, do you get to watch it sink to the bottom of the map floor? Or does it just phase out of existence after leaving the ocean surface?

@@joaolimao9381 Thanks man. I finally got a chance to rent the subs after the new update and you're definitely right. They are really incredible though. Can't wait till they get around to RN and IJN subs. It's gonna be awesome.

It needs to be remembered that sub torps don't turn in the last 1km of their courses, so keep track of where they are, and you won't need to ping as much.

They're pretty hard to control! As a DD approaching it, you should look at where it's pointing on the mini map and out turn it to get it's side otherwise they can surface and shot gun you

They're not. I could get 2-3 kills on average in sub testing as a sub, but struggle to get more than one in some of my favorite ships. Even worse, as long as you have two brain cells you can avoid depth charges easily, leaving the best anti-sub weapon as other subs. I think the main priorities of sub players should be: Other subs, destroyers, battleships, cruisers. Most to least important. Destroyers are the greatest surface threat, but only because any smart player can dodge your torps easily. Everything else is pretty much free food.

You don't yet, this was public testing footage. They added a seperate mode to the main servers and gave rentals of three subs. But that was months ago. We have to wait for the update now.

There's a power bar on the lower half of the ship's HP diagram. That's the underwater duration limit, but it recharges at a decent clip when you surface.

@@leminhhai6008 Apparently none of you noticed the second health bar, the one with the lightning bolt. That represents your oxygen and battery supply, if it drops to zero you drown, and it drops quicker the higher you set the throttle.

You can’t do anything against them. Only light cruiser, DD or other submarine can kill them so if you are in a BB or heavy cruiser or CV you will just die. If you want to kill them you have to expose your self in the open and to over them so good luck with that. Even if you manage to launch your charge he can use the maximal depth consumable and only lose 2/3 of his HP and you can’t do anything about that and you will be in the open for no reason. The Russian also have heal so good luck with that(no Russian bias hahaha)

@@matiscouillard1618 I imagine carriers could have the effect of bombers changed so the shockwave of the blast does some damage to subs, if you're accurate. There's also using the threat of them to keep a sub spotted and underwater, but IMO the biggest issue with subs is that it's so much harder to hurt them than other ships in general. Subs can spot destroyers after all.
