The radar range is a bug and will be fixed to 9km along with Wichita. Montpelier also has better sigma. So the only difference between clev and Mont is a few hundred health, half a second slower reload and better sigma
Alaska running a full AA spec captain (just to try it out, not my normal captain for it) with DFAA against Implacable - 72 planes shot down, and he killed me. More than 2/3 of my damage received was from planes. USN cruiser built for AA against a carrier a tier lower, and I can’t even defend myself against the planes that consistently don’t get shot down by anything until _after_ they’ve dropped on me
HE is bad on Fuso due to little to none superstructure. AP is ineffective because you know it's a battleship with layers of armors. Your best bet is to shoot at the front of the ship that juicy part when the fuso turns broadside.
why would you ap on that fuso? 152 AP would bounce or shatter everywhere except superstructure. with fast reload I would just HE him down for safe damage.

Yeah Fuso has some of the most troll armor in the game, other battleships are basically the only things that can damage it (besides carriers, obviously)

I've seen this a few times before; a BB or even a tough CA [like a Henri] that is down to next to no health but suddenly becomes almost invulnerable to further damage.
I just want to be able to put Hull numbers on my ships so I can have 557 on my Fletcher and 60 on my Cleveland...is that too much to ask? I remember hearing rumblings about something like that back in Closed Beta but nothing ever came of it.

its made of realism..... 6 inch guns doing zero damage to a ship designed to survive hits from 14 inch guns.... who would have thought. not to mention you were aiming too high for several volleys.
Fuso has thick 35mm middle deck and 150-203mm upper belt and side armour, has always been exceptionally tanky Ifhe 6" won't pen either. Should have been using he on the nose which is still regular t6 armour.
Many BBs around T6 and higher are coated in 25mm armor, and thus are susceptible to HE. Fuso has a lot of higher armor plantes, especially below superstructure, and is surprisingly resilient to HE. Though its Citadel protection is rather very weak.
It’s gotten to the point where a full AA build on a great AA ship (Mino, Alaska, Worcester) against even t8 carriers can’t defend themselves much less anyone else on the team. I had a game earlier today in Alaska running an AA captain (not my normal one for that ship, just as a test to see how potent its AA actually could be) and even with DFAA and priority sectors, I managed to shoot down 72 Implacable planes and they just kept coming so quick I couldn’t even defend myself - 72 plane kills, more than 2/3 of my damage was from planes that consistently didn’t get shot down until _after_ they had already dropped on me. Pre-rework CVs needed fixing to make them fit better into the game, post-rework CVs are much worse to deal with and defend against unless you clump up into an AA death ball (even in some of the best AA ships in the game), and the massive skill gap is still very much present. Not to mention how damage to planes is handled - my highest damage to kill ratio since the rework is more than 95k in a single battle with only three or four shot down (and the ships around me weren’t shooting down many either). I’ve seen some of my clan mates take AA spec Minos against double t8 CVs, down more than 80 planes alone, and still get completely chewed up by a constant onslaught of planes.
@@MidnightPhoenix07 Yea its out of hand, but WGing appear to not give a shit, they get money from the premium CV's and everything with that and the rest of us don't matter. I've been playing since closed beta and never liked them in game, now it's just crazy. I bought premium time all the way through, ships, etc. and its to bad so sad we're changing the game so the CV is king and screw everyone else. I just play for free now, screw em :)

Speaking of captains. Anyone have the Space Captains? 1. Do they come with cool voices? 2. Are they permanent captains? 3.An Special abilities? I can get one but its that or 25 signel flags in the armory.
They have the same voices they do in the space battle mode, and they are permanent captains but no special skills, just normal 10 point captains for that nation
