To make the Italian ships more realistic they need a consumable that switches them to the winning team

this ship looks a lot like a anime ghost ship should or like a modern Flying Dutchman. Really breath taking view for a victim and other spectators.

I go for a run twice a week and tour Warships upload schedule coincides almost exactly to when I finish my run. After every run I put your new video on the TV and do my warm down to your soothing voice and excellent humour. It really is wonderful.

As someone who only watches the vids and dosnt play the game this ship was incredibly suprising to see what it can do

The counter is to turn away at full speed. That may delay the Emilio from overtaking long enough so it's smoke expires before it can get into a torpedo launch position, and for you to load the HE and ready your own torps, if you have them.

This thing is basically a torpedo that has a Smokescreen that launches torpedos.

This is like a Rhino. They can chare you with 60 knots, they're blind as a bat, and if they connect, you're pretty much dead.

I had the privilege of watching Flambass, Trenlass, and Mr Gibbons division up in 3 of these. Chaos ensued.

Ensign: "Captain, you know how Yolo Emilio's like to rush our battleships, right?" Captain: "Right." Ensign: "Well I have an idea. When they do that, we run... away." Captain: "Ensign... You're a genius." Seriously, if you see a smokescreen charging at you in open water, turn away, put as much distance as a battleship reasonably can from it, and minimize your silhouette. Don't be like the Monarch who's on full health, already running away, but then decides to turn and give broadside.

My son bought me a new PC for my birthday. He insisted I play games on it. It's the first time I've had a PC capable of playing World of Warships. I've watched your videos , on and off, for about three years. War Gaming should thank you for he successful promotion of their product! I'm on the NA Server. The game sent me down the line of German ships. So far my best ships are the (IV) V-170 Destroyer and the (IV) Karlsruhe Cruiser. I'm playing mostly Co-Op games. The Random Games mode pits me and 11 bots against 12 real players. (Guess who wins?) The game gave me an option to by a premium ship, so I bought the (V) Texas Battleship: sentimentality mostly; I'm a Yank and the Texas is the last Great War Battleship still in existence. I visited Houston/Galveston TX 25 years ago and am SO disappointed I didn't know it was there in the harbor and could have visited it. (It's now in Brownsville, TX, I think. May soon become scrap iron.) ANYWAY: Having fun with WoWs even at my Noob skill level.

I've dumpstered sooooo many of those, I had NO idea they were that good. I knew they were fast, because you have to lead them by like a whole viewscreen when they're flanking. But damn! That looks like fun!

I still remember the first time I ran into this ship. I was in my Pommern. Saw a very fast smoke screen approaching, turned away from it, popped hydro, and proceeded to let secondaries do their thing. I felt bad, but like you said, “high risk, high reward”.

High risk, high reward. DDs ruin your day, radar ruins your day, German hydro ruins your day. But every now and then it's perfect.

I've seen a lot of people playing this ship and it seems to come in two major groups. 1) don't think about getting out of trouble they get into with it, and 2) don't know how to use the smoke and speed to get into trouble in the first place. I'd say 2 or 3 out of 10 maybe know how to use it and can use it properly.

WoW....the only place where the Italian ships do anything possibly useful

Honestly I'm mixed on the Paolo Emilio, on one hand if there are radar around it's fucked, it will almost never get its rush off as it will just get radared and killed. On the other hand though, in battles like this, where there is no radar to stop it, the Paolo Emilio is one of the most brokenly overpowered ships in game that you can't do ANYTHING to counter. This does come with the caveat of the Paolo Emilio player needs to know what they are doing, but most that you see playing it, at least on the NA server do. You want to talk about CVs having no counter play? Well how does that Monarch do anything to stop the Paolo Emilio? At least the Monarch would be able to maybe shoot down a few aircraft, but there was NOTHING he could have done. He was just food for the Paolo Emilio, there is nothing short of firing up a radar that any ship can do to even try to counter play a Paolo Emilio. Even most hydro is to short range to save you. German 6km is just enough, but just given how fast the ship is any shorter and you are basically just fucked. I get that's the gimmick of the ship, but god dam is it not frustrating to see on the other team while yours has no radar, or your only radar is on the other side of the map, because let's not forget just because your team HAS radar, doesn't mean it will be in position to do anything about the Paolo Emilio.

Jingels its kear sarge like earsarge with a k in the front. My Dad was stationed on the USS Kearsarge (CV/CVA/CVS-33) as a Hospital Corpsman. Including when it was a recovery ship for the Mercury and Gemini space missions.

I Yolo like this with Kleber. Doesn't work out as much but when it does it's glorious. Rushing in and taking out 2 BB's and damaging within the first 3 mins. Or waiting a bit and hit someone who went a little more solo.
