Warmest congratulations to People's Ford Boghall & Bathgate Caledonia pipe band on winning the 2023 Grade One Championships. The band's Pipe Major is Ross Harvey and the Leading Drummer is Kerr McQuillan.
The grade one championship winner is decided on four performances by the bands over two days of competition.

I think sometimes it's the easy/safe option to give first place to bands like FMM. I'm not convinced FMM have always been the best band in some of the competitions they've won. But I'm not a judge.
