In my opinion if you are really really good you will play worse with them. If you aren’t that good they will help. Best way I can describe it is on a number line -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3 is how you would play normally With mods it would be like -1,0,1,2,3,4,5 Basically mods help in 1 side but make the other side harder. Like here mods gives more number to the positive side in this example but takes those numbers from the negative. If you want to play at the greatest level. You need both sides balances for most options. An example of this is rapid fire Very useful for semi and burst weapons makes them easier to use However completely make automatic weapons useless. Same with anti recoil Makes guns with high recoil easier to use However guns with no recoil will now have added recoil from the mod

Oh I didn’t break down the back buttons and paddles for you. They are perfectly fine. They are basically an equal to scuff and battle beaver. I use normal PS4 controller with strikepack for the same reason your considering one. I can’t be asked to spend 250£ on a controller then if it goes RIP 250£ again. In my case controller breaks 50£ if strikepack breaks 40£ much more efficient.
