Sadly the “world record” doesn’t mean shit if he sinks the cue ball. 6 ball break is definitely impressive but those 6 balls become meaningless, otherwise known as “dead balls” once you scratch.
@@mikemorgan2211 that’s a rule for people that play bar rules and don’t know anything about competitive pool in America. The American Pool Association rules for scratching off the break in 8-ball mean you lose your turn and your opponent shoots from within the first two diamonds at whatever ball type they want. After that any table scratch or foul results in a “ball-in-hand” shot.
This is nothing I played at a place called Grovers in West Palm Beach and Steve Mazerac broke the balls sunk seven balls on the break and was hooked by the nine! This is a true story!
I once made 3 stripes and 6 solids on a break and I had the 5 ball for a duck in the side and left myself perfect on the 8... I slammed both of those shots and the game was over in less than 20 seconds... people were talking about the 9 balls on the break, but I was thinking that it had to be the fastest game of 8 ball ever, without making the 8 on the break or an opponent slopping the 8 in on accident...
Broke a hill/ hill rack playing 9 ball ,and made 7 and didn't make the 9, left the 4&9 touching strait in combo 4 inches from the pocket. .... and I was Tittie Hooked in the opposite long corner. Tried a masse like an idiot, should've kicked it in gave him ball in hand, lost that set $500 and finished the night even,, But it was a monster break have never over 5 since
@@artmunoz112 man, thats a world record, might wanna send in that information to someone so you can be labeled as the record breaker! Youve surpassed even the greatest of pool players of all time... 😂 sure bub
An 8 foot bar box’s are rarely recovered. When they are, they are never evened. If he were put on a put on a properly maintained and properly lit table, he probably would have done worse but. Might
To the person who made this video and title, go and watch more Pool Tournaments. This is ridiculous, he even pocket the White Ball, depending on his Opponent he practically just lost.
Its a big fella too, theres a lot of power that went into that break. Im 210 kinda slim 5’11 and i cant ever break with so much power its hard, i have the power but this dude got too much power
Unofficially earlier this month I put seven balls in on the brea I was just as shocked as others. My average is 3 I used a 25 oz. And about a ball of center
@@dshafe24THEKID only if you scratch on the 8ball shot, potting both black & white. If you pot the 8ball on break, without scratching, it's an automatic win.
Ultimately, this means less than sinking the 8 ball and not scratching on break. In the rules that I’ve played with, if you sink the 8 ball on break, you win unless you scratch.
@@Daveyboy28 yet here you are watching a RU-vid video about it talking out your ass about something you clearly have no clue about trying to be a keyboard warrior. Some set of balls you got!
Bro no one cares if he lost, it's just cool that he got all of them in. They could all be colorless and maybe then you would appreciate it. No one gives a damn about the actual rules of pool, he's just seeing how many he can sink. Goddamn people stfu.
lol I’ve made 11 on the break playing 8-ball 3 different times. Never scratched. And easily cleared. Doesn’t happen often but it’s fun when it does, especially on valley bar tables on a $10 tournament night.
Ive made 7 on the break in eight ball. And Ive made the 8 on the break 3 racks in a row. My total 8 on the break is now 91. I Have bet someone even money I could make it on the break 4x and I am 3 of 4, 75%. I also have made the most difficult shot I have ever seen. a 2/3 table masse shot cutting the 8 at 95 degrees to travel 16 inches into the corner passing between two opponent balls with 1/8" space on each side. Those balls were midway between the 8 and the pocket. I had shot all 8 balls my first inning at the game which was a local fun tournament. I only saw the shot once in my life and had a minute to plan an execute. Only one shot at it and I made it. I don't think anyone in the world can make it with one try. I just wanted it that bad. I would never think to practice a shot that hard. Near impossible.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Heb 9:27) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
That break was impressive, and it's certainly much better than the average ball count made on the break, but I've definitely seen more than that. I've seen more than that at my local bar.
I made 6 before. 4 stripes 2 solids. The other 3 solids were all within 8 inches of a pocket. Lucky it was free pool that night at a place called luckys. Break n run record might have been set lol
I guess I should have recorded my ex. he made more than that! HellI I have! My ex Richard Harrison Caldwell inducted into the Pool Players Hallof Fame. We both payed pool with Fast Eddie. Exhibition in our town as well. Very Few get into The Pool Hall of Fame!! Proud of this man he was the best!
table owner makes the rules lol thats just how it is but in official rules scratch on break is ball in hand for the opponent which in pro circuits is a death sentence. but playing with friends casual usually you call it a loss to keep it moving.
I've personally made more in without scratching on accident. Lol. No way thats a record. Im not even that good at pool, just average like anyone else who used to play alot but not in years. Idk if scratching it affected his "record" though.
I sank 4 strip 5 solid ini a hogh school tournment.. the balls got caught under the table in the tracks and released after two more shots lol.. I always wondered if that would've been a record
Cue ball was in front of the head string.. even if he didnt scratch. Still a foul. He placed the ball in the right spot, paused. Then moved it passed the head string.
While I was playing pool as a young man I saw an old Asian dude sink every single ball off the break at 8-ball, the last one to go in with the white one and the before last was the black one somebody was trying to say that he lost because he's sunk the white ball I say he one for sure I've never seen anything like that
