They looked good. I was waiting for one of the girls to say they tasted a little waxy. LOL I personally think the Tollhouse recipe on the back of the chips makes the best cookies.
The light brown sugar doesn't have as much molasses in it as the dark brown sugar does. You can make your own brown sugars just use white sugar and molasses. I believe it's a tablespoon of molasses per pound of white sugar for light brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of molasses per pound of white sugar for dark brown sugar. Just use your kitchen aid with the paddle. Use low setting and let it mix. Put in a storage container.

🍪🧈This recipe is similar to one I’ve been using for over 10 years from allrecipes called “Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie”. My favorite thing about the recipe is the melted butter like your recipe. Other than slightly different measurements, the biggest difference is the addition of an egg yolk. I’m excited to try your recipe. 😁

I think that was a lot of fun to watch! I'm not a fan of dark chocolate- the milk chocolate with it might have done it for me tho . I do agree with you tho- although a lot of people prefer underdone cookies, I like mine done! Excellent guest judges!💕

Light brown sugar has less molasses than dark brown sugar has. I make my own with granulated sugar and molasses. The more molasses, the chewier the cookie. I was tired of brown sugar turning into a brick even with the bread in there and ending up throwing it away.

The darker the brown sugar, the more molasses is in it. And the wire accessory is for whipping cream. The paddle is what you need. Skip the hand whisking. Also, find a video on actually FOLDING in a recipe.
