I can't be mad about it tbh, he played really well. like, yeah, his frame data just simply outclasses ganon, but it wasn't like the GnW set, tink was actually playing a really strong zoning game not just pressing button because it is strong.
Jojo’s been a strong player for a pretty long time, and the way he conditions at range with Tink is subtle, but strong Major still played very well and fought back in a lot of interactions, set count doesn’t tell the whole story
You're ganon is so uniquely you. Especially with how you use ganon's nair and dash attack, I almost don't even recognize the strings you're pulling off with them.

MAJOR THE TINK SET TILTED ME BRO. You died to jump getup too many times, he kinda conditioned you out of neutral getup shield game 1 but with that the worst you ate was an fthrow, lived to 180. ledge jump you're dying at 106 man! Also big thing in the mu I think you noticed a bit too late, DONT THROW AWAY THE BOMBS RIGHT AWAY! Ganon's oos options aren't the best but that bomb gives you a fast oos option and great combo starter. You got em next time!
oh last thing too, 21:02 and 21:29 burning dbj and skipping ledge. Just retreat to ledge man, worst case you get tagged by a bomb offstage but you still have your dbj. So much better than eating and Usmash
oh hey, just started watching but noticed you practicing slingshots after the first stock, have you found any good uses for ganon or is it more of an _I'll-take-any-tech-I-can-get_ type of situation?
10:57 okay I saw that one, you're using it here for spacing and to leave more options on the table as you do. makes sense since ganon fair is so strong as a fadeback tool, and what better fadeback is there than a slingshot delayed aerial
i like to do it in between stocks just to make sure my inputs and movement are on point, but for slingshot in general i look at it less as tech and more as another movement option. ideally it's integrated the same way dash back, short hop, full hop ect. is, just using it when the situation calls for it. that being said, i dont think slingshot fair, slingshot upair ect is necessarily good, infact just dash back short hop bair is better than any of them. BUT if they dont approach when you slingshot, you have the option to stay in the air and double jump towards them with all aerials at your disposal, instead of only bair if you dash back short hopped. or instead of double jumping, just landing jab/dtilt, ect ect. lots of situations but its always a positive to be able control which way you're facing!
@@majorssbwould it be worth considering slingshot away as a neutral movement, and as an alternative to dash back- waiting to see if you can nair 1 on reaction to dash in? if there’s no dash in I imagine the lack of reward is fine since you’re spacing and still facing the opp, and nair 1 is pretty hard to whiff punish outside of very specific tools imo
@@YOSSARIAN313 I know it ain't mashing, what I mean by that is that the options Toon Link has are mostly free due to the extremely small windows for punishment letting them roll their face on their controller and still be fine.
