I wasn't blown away by the first version of the DB11 but the AMR looks really special.

the yellowish stripe looks fine on car such as Merc, Bmw, Porsche, Audi or even Hyundai, Kia....but to me just doesn't suit the stylish elegance design of Aston

How refreshing the first of any car video irrespective of the car, that I have actually watched nearly to the end ever, the host has a natural welcoming talent with the ability to actually entertain and not bore the living daylights out of me. Such a sexy thing! Aston Martin really nailed the lines with the db11 and in that dark blue, perfection! Saw 3 or 4 reviews of the AMR DB11 before this but yours is the best by a mile ;) Great shots as always!

Oh..... I was missing your vids sooo much..... haha Beautiful car...... like any other Aston.... such a great V12 sound.. and that interior look soo posh and luxury (not so sure about the tan colour... Top notch video! The channel seems to have grown in subs and views the last few months. It takes some time but once it takes off... At this level of quality, it can only go in the same direction. Making a video with the likes of Mr. JWW which appeals to the same type of audience could only add to that. 2 very likeable characters, lovely cars and quality content, what more can we ask for than more of this ;) ? Love seeing the progress you guys have made the last few months, the effort is starting to pay off.

Great video! Minor remark, if you pull the right shift pedal and hold it shortly it will go in drive without the need to push the D button.

So those minor flaws you mentioned are interesting: 1) The haptic touch systems are great to look at but often terrible to live with. I remember when Ford had their MyFordTouch system, and the lack of buttons helped make the system very unreliable, plus the usability of it wasn't great. The only Ford model with good reviews that had that system was the F-150, because it used real buttons. Cadillac was also a big offender. I like buttons for being able to sorta memorize where they are. It's great in my family's Audi A8. 2) To combat the navigation entry, what Cadillac has is that if there's a passenger detected, then manual entry is allowed. Aston should do the same. Great video as always!

sad to see the original DB11 go and I wonder why they just didnt offer the AMR DB11 as a package instead of scrapping the original car but this replaced/is replacing the OG V!2 but what about the V8 DB11? Is that one also gone/going to be replaced?

Anything Aston currently makes is 👁 candy.

To be the best GT it has to be comfortable enough to drive all day, not just fast and good looking. They might be better off marketing it as a sports car rather than a GT. I bet the S-class coupe and the Continental GT are just as fast but much more comfortable, with heated, cooled, massaged seats with 1000 ways of adjusting them,a big boot, air ionization, $8000 sound system, and central consoles that don't look like they're from 2005 like in the Aston ( 5:19 ). They also both look much better to my eyes, both inside and out.

Brilliant video as usual! The DB11 gave me mixed feelings at the start but I have grown to like it now. If I had to criticize, it would be the the gear selector buttons for sure. They're stupid and pointless and I'd rather have a gear stick instead. But apart from that, its definitely something I'd love to own.

Excellent and honest review. If I am spending super car money I expect it to be perfect. The Vanquish S is that. Not this, it is close though. With a facelift to the rear and front and a revision of the electronics it could be that.

Stunning looking car, love the colour of the leather seats but the infotainment from mercedes looks old not what you would expect from a car costing over a £100.000 pounds apart from that love the video great as always 👍

Top job chap, only query - have they removed the transmission function where you can just click it into first on the paddles from neutral / park? Admittedly it doesn't go into drive, but if you hold the paddle in it'll change into auto (and vice versa into manual). That's how the ZF8 works in the Vanquish 8 and regular V12 DB11 anyway. When you're at AM Brizzle next, it'd be ace to catch up.

Good vid. Love the engine but not crazy about the overall style of the DB11. Take the headlights and engine and toss them into the new Vantage and we would have an amazing GT.

I understand the sat nav and the start up radio can be a drag but taking half a second to push one button, is nick picking, ppl nowadays complain for the simplest things

I would have a very hard time choosing between this and an 812 Superfast. My head says Aston but my heart says NA Ferrari V12 goodness.

Does it ride worse than the DB11 V12 or does it ride the same?

If you count the rear seats then there's plenty of storage space.

great car, issues you have with the car ie drive mod and pushing the D button, thats safety and the sat nav , who in their right mind changes the sat nav when driving, thats a no go and again safety first

Little boys dream about Ferrari's and Lamborchini's. Men...Aston Martin's. A chance to drive or better yet WON Bond's car. Or a copy of it. A GT car is really the best car for real world driving by civilians with realistically average driving skills. (Supercars are really designed for experienced race car drivers driven on CLOSED race tracks...driving any "supercar" on city roads is a waste of $...by people with at best average driving ability).
