It has been described as the best day's kayaking in the world, and no argument from me. Departing Elgol for the Black Cuillin mountains of Skye, via Soay Sound, we encountered - and paddled with for 20-25 minutes - a pod of 20-30 bottlenose dolphins. Camping in the heart of the Cuillin mountains, the weather was 'perfect' - not often the case in Skye - and quite frankly, life doesn't get any better! A marvelous trip!
We had planned a third day paddling, but unfortunately, the weather turned nasty. Can't complain though! :)
