Actually you would be suprised as to what the biggest tank is. The Behemoth is very big but it isn't the biggest tank in the world. The Behemoth Char 2C is the biggest tank when it comes to its physical size. But it wasn't as large as the Maus tank developed in World War 2. The Maus tank was produced by the Germans In World War 2 because Hitler demanded for a bigger and better tank. The Maus is the "heaviest fully enclosed armoured fighting vehicle ever built" weighing at an astonishing 188 tons. Where as the Behemoth Char 2C weighed just 69 tons. However the Maus tank was only made into two prototypes with one being incomplete and the other being blown up to prevent it from being captured by the Russians. The armament of the Maus tank was a 128mm (5 in) Kwk 44 gun L/55 which was its main gun. It also had a co-axial 75mm (3in) Kwk 44 gun L/36.5 and a MG 34 co axial machine gun. This made the maus a absolute beast when it comes to armament and penetration power. The Design of the tank itself was very flawed. With it having around 200mm of armor on average, it came with the problem of weight which would in turn sink the tank into the ground and reduce its operational lifespan as the transmission and engine would have to undergo a lot of stress to make up for the weight. This tank is very interesting so don't be afraid to look it up and see its true size and power.

ACTUALLY... the biggest former existing tank was the German Panzerkampfwagen VIII. Hitler wanted the ultimate killing machine, so he hired Volkswagen to design a super-tank. Three were produced, and from what I remember, it weighed 80 tons, and had about three inches of solid steel armour. Wolkswagen was not proud of his new invention.

The Panzerkampfwagen Mark VIII Maus is the largest tank in history, built by the Germans during World War II, with two hulls being built with only one getting the turret; however, they were both captured and never saw action.

The worlds biggest tank was a Nazi German Pzkpfw VIII (Panzerkampfwagen 8). It was a prototype super heavy tank. 4 were made. 2 were destroyed, I think 1 was captured by Soviets. 1 survived but its turret was never mounted. It was 188 tons.

The biggest mobile gun should be the Thor. And the actual biggest tank was supposed to be the Ratte but never went beyond blueprint stage. Instead you get the Maus that was just an early stage prototype. (ww2 though)

Actually this is not the worlds biggest tank is the Maus (English: Mouse) (and oh the irony with the name) this beast is 11ft 11in tall 33 ft 6 in long and 12ft 2in wide and this monster of a tank weighed at 188 tons of steel (376,000 pounds of steel) but if were talking about anything with a gun on it then there's the Schwerer Gustav (English: Heavy Gustaf) that had a 80cm cannon it weighed 1,350 tons of steel (2,700,00 pounds of steel) that fired 5 tons shells Height: 38 ft 1 in Width: 23 ft 4 in Length: 155 ft 2 in Barrel length: 106 ft 8 in

This tanks were made too late to be used in ww1.When over 20years later Germany attacked France again the construction was too old.Hovever french guys took them out from magazines anyway.2c tanks were used to provide distraction and make soldiers feel better.If i misspelled anything please correct me.
