I recently visited one of the biggest countries in Central Asia - Uzbekistan and one of the best highlights of my trip was the experience of bullet train. In just INR 1367 I traveled from the capital city Tashkent to the silk road city Samarkand. The 310 km journey took less than 2 hrs 15 minutes to complete! Averaging close to 150 km/h.
The maximum speed of Uzbekistan's bullet train (also known as Afrosiyob) is astounding 250 km/h.
