This is as real as it gets.... sucks man... hope you get it back together. I know and feel your pain...wild bro... fuck I wish it would have hit that 140...❤
Grab a sheet of 1/8 inch abs and cut it to the contour of the body... then double side tape it to the chassis... use a heat gun to angle the back side and add some fins. It's helped me quite a bit.
Dude. I'm on to version 3. Im starting to lose hope. 😅 I swear this hobby is a LOT of trial and error. ❤ I hope you post more videos soon, miss your content man!
Thanks! Over 120mph the driveshafts and diff become the problem. The driveshaft broke this time and stuck the car completely sideways and into the guard rail.
How did you have the board motor esc mounted? Looks Like the car survived but battery and electronics flew out. Did you use double sided tape or something?
Velcro. The car is totaled the front end is the only thing that survived. The transmission broke in half. The esc was smashed 2 batteries gone. Thanks for watching
I know this is old but damn that’s tragic Sorry man😣 we know the risks though At first when I started speed running I was okay with breaking stuff but I soon realized to me it’s not worth the money you have to keep putting into the car I got mine to a uncomfortable speed that I can still slightly control and called it good Broke transmission case, a arms, driveshafts, bulk head, burned an esc, bent shocks all within 1 week of doing speed runs and decided enough was enough I’m not well off enough to invest more into it
Thank you🙏 Believe it or not. 1 ran 2 2wd Slashs one with the stock body and the other a GT version with the jaguar body I had these cars on rails. Thats was the first "Bad" crash. And it was all because I use "cheap" driveshafts 👎👎 I have another build ready to go, plus the GT version I'm going to start back up this spring with some runs. Bad part is the highway is no longer an option😪 So I have a road that's not long enough to slow down. But I have "expensive" driveshafts this time as it will make all the difference. The new 272r trans fixed the internal problems. Stay tuned👍
