Honestly it sucks that the various factors of YT have caused us to think hes working slow on this. A body swap at this stage in around half a year is impressive. Homie is busting his ass for us to watch for free and we expect him to work faster.
He's moving faster than some builds I've seen. These builds do take time, though, a lot of work that goes past basic mods and simple fabbing will take more than a day or two, especially if one has other life obligations. These folks are no different than us, they have lives outside current project and youtube. The stress of youtube is bad enough, which is why I don't worry about building up my channel.
Seen loads of body swaps, you are by far the best... methodical, precise, and functional. No doubt this will look factory when you're finished, your work is amazing
Your attention to details is unprecedented & your professionalism is off the chain. Keep doing you & this little community will promote the Bode standard.
My uncle brush painted his 56 Belair 2 tones and left with it has soon has he was done, he said it would dry up on his way back. ( true story ) i was about 14 and now 76 and still remember it. keep those video's coming.
Y E S ! ! ! ! Another video on this awesome project! Giving it a thumbs up before even seeing it. I was looking forward to this! Thanks, man. You're awesome.
Dude is killing it, I love this build. I have a g body ElCamino, but I also have a boring but awesomely reliable Honda Element. This is like the bastard child that would happen if they skrewed around lol.
Looking great! I like when you provide details of ‘how’ you do things. I have painted cars and realize the amount of work it takes. You are killing it! This has to be my favourite build so far, not because I particularly like the CRV or El Camino, just because the uniqueness of it and I can apply some methods you are using to my own projects.
Coming together crazy fast! Especially for a car that's never been made before. The cool thing about buying a car with a large number of missing items is when you get all the new parts on with the fresh paint, it's going to look nuts!!
Awesome new video. I love these body swap projects. It takes a ot of ingenuity to find solution to problems you did know existed. I get tired of 30 minute videos sticking a LS motor into a chevy.
I love how you have your little place so organized and everything look really clean Love the motivation you have for these kind of jobs have a really good day
That car is like the core of my channel Bow ties and rice it’s the Japanese mullet wish I would of thought of it please do a great paint job on it very inspiring thanks Tom Bow Ties and Rice 😊
I have had great luck running the evil energy quick clamps instead of couplers, makes the bay/intercooler piping a bit better looking, they are pretty affordable as well unlike vibrant
This is looking great, in fact you're taking it to a much higher level than I expected, I'm used to watching more rat rod F100 type swaps. Can't wait to see how it progresses, or when you put this one up for raffle, because I'm feeling lucky....cheers!
You are doing a great job on the El Camino Body Swap Adam, I'm not in a position to tell you if you should be doing it differently as I don't have the skills that you have these days I haven't done a car restoration since the early 80's, I just enjoy my painting in my homemade booth👌looking forward to the next instalment🙏👍John UK
Looking really good so far! I would buy a roll pan for that rear bumper though, it would match the front more. Just IMO, but awesome build! Keep up the good work! 😊
I think a tonneau cover would be a nice finishing touch. The reason being is the wide wheel wells in the back look a bit out of place on this. Just my opinion otherwise I am impressed you took a parts car and made it into something.
just wanna say you arent gonna want to go past about 300hp with that B20 the sleeves are really thin between the combustion chambers and crack and blow the motor after you put more than about 14psi in them, id look into finding a b18b1 block because you can make 400hp stock bottom end on those or getting the b20 sleeved
Man all that work might as well shave the engine bay make everything look clean and nice that's so far you've done a great job take it to the next level on this one,😜
My Uncle built 2 Honda El camino's at the same time. JK I'm from the UK The only El Camino's I've ever seen are in GTA. P.s go slow, that means more videos 😁
All this work you're putting in this car and engine, do yourself a solid, and make sure you got a proper airbox for that thing, and good heat resistant material for that zip tube. You ain't slacked off yet.
