Quick disclaimer since I see quite a few people have this misunderstanding: this was completed on MASTER difficulty, not normal difficulty. I am aware the raid has been duo flawlessed, even solo flawlessed, but that was done on normal mode. As far as I'm aware this is the first duo flawless completion of the MASTER mode of Root of Nightmares.
I'm sure you could've figured out the first two encounters on warlock, not sure why you did a character change, but that's not really a flawless challenge having a character swap. Wouldn't call it a flawless run, but still amazing.

I’ve gotten so used to seeing warlocks in this kind of content so I was a little shocked when I saw you throw that hammer at the legionary in the first encounter, I’m not used to seeing titans in this kind of stuff lmao. Good run, amazing stuff!
Hunter is the only class you won't see in environments like this. Other classes all have sustain or ways to hide while dealing damage during boss damage phases, while also providing much more utility at the same time
Incredible job. I like how you acknowledge the difficulty of this challenge unlike other people who would be like, yea it took us 10 hours to do but it was still easy
btw if a barrier champion puts up their shield you can still freeze them by going inside with conditional finality and shooting them from there, they won't take any damage but will get frozen which takes down their shield
@@ps5bloodthirsty They can't stomp while their shield is up. Also, with the right amount of resilience and proper resist mods, you won't get one-shot by a stomp in master.
There is a discord server dedicated to lowmans (discord.gg/lowman). I recommend you check it out if you want to get started with doing lowmans, there's plenty of people willing to teach beginners how to do them.
This is annoying to duo on normal let alone duo flawless on master so huge amount of respect for this achievement! I wonder will we ever see a master solo flawless now.

Pretty much, if you miss the debuff you'd need perfect damage from both players in order to reach the minimum required per phase. At most you could miss 2 debuffs, but that would mean you'd have to do perfect damage on 3 phases in order to have a chance at clearing.

That's because when Nezarec starts going up in the sky, his actual full damage hitbox remains on the gound. For example if my rockets hit for 100k while he's on the ground, I'd hit maybe like 60k when he's in the sky. So instead of losing out on damage I reapply witherhoard in that time and shoot 1-2 fusion rifle shots.

There's a raid mod called "Release Recover" that gives you restoration x1 (or x2 if you have 4 mods equipped) when you lose a field of light/darkness buff. Since you lose the buff when you melee the nodes, it grants you the effect of the raid mod.
Is it easy aside from damage? Ngl it looks far easier than vog or kf but that could just be because I know from experience that they are hard whereas I haven’t actually tried this even trio.
First and second are extremely free. Third is easy with enough practice since you can control everything in that encounter, except heavy ammo drops, but we've never wiped to that. Nezarec is the only encounter you cannot guarantee 100% consistency like the other 3 encounters since it relies on the game behaving. Our first damage phase for example had no debuff because the colossus got damage glitched and died instead of being left with low hp. Stuff like that can kill a run if it happens in all 3 damage phases.
Character swaps (even if you spawn in dead) are not considered to be player deaths by Bungie's API since nothing in the game has actually killed you. Thus, the run is considered flawless and it also appears as such on the Raid Report clear.

On Explicator I run heat rises and touch of flame with ember of resolve, empyrean, torches and solace. For Nezarec I run the same fragments, but with icarus dash and heat rises for aspects.

As the guy above me said, without a damage glitch it would be impossible. Explicator would also be extremely hard to run solo (probably even impossible) because there's 4 anti-barriers that melt you instantly if you're not careful.
@@pepperoni42069-p It would, but since they added the swap delay 4th horseman doesn't do as much damage as it used to, so I don't think it's possible anymore. Last season it definitely could have been done though.
