@@gilliganmcneuter4550 umm...huh? Abscessed? Okay, that I get, you obviously ment obsessed but "you'll be there when they are consumed" and besides finding it to be pretty creepy I am really, really curious what that means. Could you please clarify that if you read this? I know it's silly I'm truly curious, not just teasing ya. Thanks
As a dude who is personally a weird motherfucker, I was astonished. Like that's behavior for me to be busting out. Not for the Cody's of the group. Just would've assumed he wouldn't even know where to begin with acting that weird at all lmaooo.
I found the sentence "I'll be having that" so hilarious I started using it around my boyfriend to see if I could get him to add it to his vocabulary.... and it worked 😂 I love hearing him say "I'll be having that" now randomly in everyday conversation not knowing where it came from 😈
Cody trying to immitate the goblin to prove how weird it is, and unironically getting way too into it is the funniest thing I've ever seen. he oddly proved how it kinda makes sense to do lol
My best friend from high school confessed to a bomb threat that was made our senior year. She wanted to get out of a test and panicked. The threat was found the next day, so she still had to take the test AND live with the terror of being caught. Funniest part about it is that she did not tell a soul until she told me - THE NIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING OVER 10 YEARS LATER.
I had a friend do the same around 9 10th grade but she DID get caught and have to take the test and people called her the unibomber for the rest of high-school
Noel is great, but I will always love Cody more, he’s such a soft boy inside lol. I wonder how Cody felt at first when he first started having Noel on his channel, and the comments went insane for him, to now being just as famous and popular as him. I know they are best friends so he’s obviously happy about it, but you can’t say that wouldn’t jolt you at first
@@linneascameraroll ngl, I’m a casual fan and don’t watch the podcast, caught a few bits here and there. Is this really a thing? You’re right, very weird.
@@digitalharmony26 I think cause he was one of those kids brought up on live leak videos, cartel murders and all that (stated in past videos). Ig that attributes to his morbid sense of humor.
@@heinzbeans1827 I get having a morbid sense of humour, I definitely do but I feel if he does it enough for others to recognise a trend it’s a little weird but idk the guy so 🤷🏻♀️
Looked it up and its not what i was expecting. I was imagining someone basing their style off like a warhammer goblin for some reason. Its like cottagecore with slight goth vibes and plenty of trinkets
I watched this video a couple weeks ago and had to come back to comment about the events that just took place in my home.... I was telling my wife about the goblin story after I watched it cuz it was hilarious. I guess my 6yo daughter overheard the story, because tonight I heard her giggling in her room, I went up to see what was so funny. She had one of my hoodies on (I'm 6'3" so she was completely covered) she was hunched over with her pillowcase full of trinkets, from her own room, creeping around like a goblin saying "I'll be taking this" then laughing her ass off. I damn near pissed my pants laughing. She told me she heard me talking about it and it sounded like a fun game and she was bored in bed tonight and remembered it. So she went ahead and started playing, and I quote "trinket goblin". I honestly can't stop laughing. I wish I could share the pic in this comment because she got really REALLY into her goblin role. I can't breathe it's so funny. I just had to share this here.
I lived in an 8 person house in college and one of the guys would sometimes go goblin mode. He was like a 5'0 extremely pale but oddly muscular guy who would literally crawl around on all fours hissing sometimes, especially when drunk or high. It was funny except he would also like hide under my bed while I was in the kitchen and pop up behind me when I got back
wtf the hissing........... for some reason that's the line. haha. would scare the f outta me, to come around the corner and HISSSSSSSSSSSS before i see 'im. but also the hiding under the bed. WHAT'RE YOU, A GOBLIN CLOWN??
@@jared699 not sure if you’re new around here but it’s a running joke in the community that Cody is an old man lol it’s been a joke for longer than I’ve been here 😊
The thought of the goblin guy having the "post nut clarity" of his little charade and having to put all the shit back from the trinket sack. 😂😂😂 Like he just has to clean the house after he's done. Lmaooo. Like dinner is cooking and he has to shamefully put his silverware back in the drawer 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It is not bad AT ALL at my location. My coworkers and I do whatever we want. Varies between location and management stop spreading false information lol
@@dominicv964 maybe you're spreading misinformation bc of your one anecdotal experience. Plenty of other workers have exposed their terrible working conditions so maybe just be grateful your experience isn't like most
@@bkk1996 What led you to believe that I am not grateful? My friend works at a separate location and has no issues whatsoever, he is actually the reason I started working for Amazon. You could say a percentage are bad but I don’t think it’s fair to go around saying everyone is experiencing mistreatment when I can tell first hand that that is not the case.
LOVE THIS (btw so Cody doesn't worry, Goblincore isn't actually acting like a goblin, you just decorate your home to feel like your interpretation of a goblin's home- he should check out some goblincore rooms tbh)
Every time there's a power outage I put on a long white dress I have and light a candle and wander around my small studio apartment with it in my hand like I'm a ghost lady from 1700's.
As someone who works in food, the doordash grub hub etc always gets stollen off the shelf. Though I hate the company I work for, during a stressful fast paced day and finding out an order has been stolen makes that day worse
@@IchimatsuTrashneko shouldn’t you guys make his order again? That’s like stealing his money if you don’t and I definitely feel like that’s against the law lol I work in food as well and that’s what we’d do anyways.
I love the idea of going Goblin mode. Honestly, I hate cleaning up really anything or doing chores, so this may be the motivation and the piece I was missing
The main difference between Cottagecore and Goblincore is that the aesthetics of Cottagecore is inspired by the romanticized western agricultural lifestyle while comparatively, on the other hand, the aesthetics of Goblincore is inspired by the goblins, which are related to the ugliness or dirtiness in connection with nature also, it can be expressed by any plants or animals.
@@6235river probably for people who have never *seen* either one? By the name you could be like “ah, a cottage deep in the woods sounds like where a goblin would live”?
All throughout school I was in SPED (Special Education) for dyslexia and ADHD. The room that I would go to to complete schoolwork and receive help from was called the CMC. I figured out in middle school that teachers were unsure of how to approach learning disabilities etc and so, when I didn’t want to do work, would excuse myself to the CMC for ‘help’. Basically, I would go to the CMC, hide my earbuds with my hair, and watch Naruto for hours until the bell rang
I like how in the one story that uses the word trinkets and is about sneaking in and stealing things, Cody doesn't break out the Goblin impression. He knew it was too obvious. Class.
i need to see kelsey and cody going goblin mode together. i can just imagine kelsey walking around and picking up chili's stuff saying "ill be having that."
Schools: "bullying is not cool, making someone feel bad is wrong" Also schools: "let's put these kids up on a stage and traumatize them by forcing them to sing a cringy song while the other students laugh and record them to post on the internet so they will never be able to forget the soul crushing embarrassment they felt on that day"
It’s pretty genius to act like something else to take your mind away from your life. For me it’s playing d&d but acting like someone else completely can just be fun
The 8th grade rap one. I bailed at the laat minute on this group of mean, popular girls whose friend group I was always apart of but treated me like garbage and instead chose to do a really embarrassing dance routine with the 2 nerdiest girls in our class. Everyone laughed at us but the girl who was always mean to me cried because when I quit our other friend quit and she was going to have to perform alone, so she didnt go, so I felt good about my decision and still do. And that was over 20 years ago lol. That girl tormented me though. She constantly tried to humiliate me and it felt so good to finally stand up to her.
It does spit ink. I know this for a fact. I went to a Catholic school and we had to wear these ugly burgundy cardigans or vests as part of out uniform. So whenever a kid wanted to pull the alarm and not get caught, they would steal a sweater, usually from some poor grade 9, and put it over their arm to pull the alarm. Later you would return to the school and often have to step over the discarded burgundy sweater now covered in streams of blue ink.
The fact that Cody is reacting in the dark really adds to his goblin impression. Like gollum just chillin' in his cave (does he live in a cave? idk and idgaf).
You can’t stack multiple incidents of theft like that tho. It’s how my ex got out of a theft charge because target and the police took 2 incidents that happened back to back (like Monday, Tuesday) and added the amounts together. Separately each charge was a misdemeanor but together they amounted to a felony. The charges had to be dismissed even with the mountain of evidence they had.
As a Doordash driver, sometimes the food does get stolen. When it does, the restaurant remakes it and I have to wait, not getting paid during that time
There’s something really satisfying about yoinking an item saying “I’ll be having that!” when you’re alone at home and it’s all your shit already 😂 The fun of chaos and stealing without the guilt or consequences
“What is the difference between Goblincore and Cottagecore? Goblincore, like cottagecore, is characterized by its reverence for nature. Goblincore, though, takes a slightly different approach and finds beauty in traditionally undesirable aspects of nature.” - google lol
8:11 Lol I can totally get behind someone faking smth to get out of a situation like this. When I was 10, I went to a study camp retreat but I didn’t want to do this stupid itsy bitsy spider dance that the facilitators kept pushing us to do. In the end, I faked getting a leg cramp, got a free massage and a nice cup of lemon tea while chilling and watching everyone dance
Bro I love this because I feel like every kid has had an experience like this. And it begs the question- why are these adults, who have been kids in school before, not realize that this is the lamest most humiliating thing you could possibly do😭
I remember having to play taps for Veterans Day in 8th grade, the amount of pressure I felt looking up and seeing my whole school and all the family members that were in the military was unreal
tbh it's sad this kid was bullied so hard they were terrified to perform a silly song, not even solo, but in a group, especially when literally every group had to do the same task
My confession; I saw your confession video #5 on my feed. I was surprised to see it but I was intrigued, so I watched it. I laughed so hard! You are hilarious! I love how you read and react to them. The confessions are funny, strange, etc but you make them so hilarious. Yet you have a wonderful insight on them. I’m a 66 year old retired woman-disabled, having to be in bed a lot, so I’ve been watching a lot of RU-vid. I’ve heard of Reddit of course but never been on it. So, I searched and found all of these confession videos you’ve done; I binge watched them. I want to share with my friends and sister but I’m afraid they may think I’m nuts - this old lady enjoying these type of confessions?! Anyway I am now definitely going to watch all your videos-thank you for making me laugh so hard!! You’ve brought some humor into my life-great stress relief!
Never laughed harder at a YT video than this one. That was actually hilarious, his impression of the goblin walk and sounds were just amazing, thank you Cody XD
when those goblin noises played i fucking almost shat myself. i haven’t laughed that much in ages lmaooooo i was imagining like little grunts not whole heaving/gagging breaths BAHHAHAAHH
I'm a manager at Chipotle, can confirm that people literally come in and steal online orders off the shelf. So I started keeping them behind the counter
