World's Hardest Subnautica Mod Is INSANE 

All the other survivors on the Aurora were already playing with this mod enabled.

Adding the slight possibility to spawn in the void would just be amazing

also saying it makes reapers aggressive is an understatement. if you go ANYWHERE near the biomes they swarm, then AT LEAST one will find you and kill you

Also the lore explanation for the increased power is absolutely hysterical. You can see it in the deathrun part of the pda entries you get when you start the game

i feel so bad for whoever was playing this mod, doing good so far, and then being at 98/99 m deep and dying from the Aurora blast.

I actually am happy they added the risk of the bends to this, makes Subnautica's diving even more realistic

I think the place for the hardest mod for subnautica goes definitely to the red plague because it’s not just one of the hardest to beat but also to survive playing.

Time to pair it with the Red Plague!

Now install the bloop and blaza and de-extinction mod for more dangerous creatures, and install the randomizer mod for true chaos.

Honestly, I really didn't think it was that hard on the basic settings, and it really just felt like normal subnautica by the midpoint of the game. I plan on doing the hardest difficulty at some point, so I'm hoping that's much more difficult.

The only part I dislike about this mod is that because of the way they alter reaper Leviathan AI, reapers will end up chasing you across the entire map, not just on an initial aggro but constant pursuit

the creatures being more aggressive in the one thing that isn't technically realistic because most animals don't mind you if you don't mind them and that's how they were originally programmed

the nitrogen thing is just the cherry on top. i could probably do this without it but with the nitrogen level thing, i just cant do this mod without losing my mind after 20 minutes

Is the mod customizeable at all? Would be really cool to try playing with some of these changes, like the Nitrogen levels and spreading radiation, without permadeath.

So it's just normal Subnautica, but everything is much more of a pain in the ass.

Honestly I’d like a version of this without the increases aggression and permadeath. That sounds like it would be a genuinely fun challenge without being frustrating.

I think it's kinda funny how the hardest mod in subnautica basically adds real world logic to it like radiation spreading or the explosion contaminating the air with chemicals and stuff

When your this good at subnautica, it's time to go outside and enjoy the fresh air... unless that's not an option for you.

Playing it in multiplayer would be crazy

The radiation thing is kinda wild bc water is actually a really good insultator against radiation, plus the air not being breathable is insane. I get it's just trying to be hard but if they're gonna add things like Nitrogen sickness they're gonna open themselves up to criticism for the realism
