Considered to be one of the most sought-after shoes in world, the 1972 Nike "Moon Shoe" has just been sold at a Sotheby’s for a price $437,500 (£350,395) - breaking the record for the most expensive trainers (sneakers) sold at auction.

The Black/Red Nike Airship Jordan wore preseason in his rookie year (1984) was banned, not the Jordan 1 Bred. Jordan actually wore the Jordan 1 Bred in the 1985 All Star Game (no fine). Nike marketed the Jordan 1 Bred colorway as 'banned' as an advertising gimmick, nothing more. Jordan never attempted to wear the Jordan 1 Bred in a regular season game, thus no 'ban'

Because with-in time they will fall apart if done that way. People have shrink wrapped whole collections from not even that many year's ago and they have fallen apart or been destroyed but with OG OG pair's you need to let them breath a little.
