The archery trick is simply a fake. My husband and I are both longbow (me) and recurve (him) archers and there is NO way you can make that arrow go slalom like that no matter what arrows or bows you use. Yes, certain arrows have different characteristics than others that cause their flight pattern to be altered but you can't make them go in S-curves. I call bogus on it.

It's really just the culmination of the old adage from Artillery crews... Slow equals smooth, smooth equals fast. Do it enough, and it gets ingrained into your brain and body. It's not perfect, but it's effective. As it builds, you naturally get faster. Build the precision and repetition first. Speed will naturally follow over time. The key is, don't rush. Don't ever rush.
