these lobster aren't that expensive, nor do they taste even a 3rd as good as Maine lobster (source : I have lived in Florida all of my life).

Nobody thinks you're crazy for using lobster as bait for cubera. People have been doing it for decades.

If loosing the anchor is a common occurrence, maybe putting your contact information on it would be a good idea. I know that deermeatfordinner would bend over backwards to return it if he found it while diving.

A day after watching your video, the idea came to me to ziptie the second hook to the back tail (further back) instead of sticking it in. It think it would maximize your chances as there really would be no way to bite the tail off without the hook, which seems to happen quite a bit. (And it would keep the tail stronger and moving around more naturally.) Great videos!

Went offshore for the first time in Costa Rica this past year. I caught my first Mahi and a friend of mine caught a cubera. That thing was such good eating wow. I'm from Louisiana used to just fishing salt lakes and a couple miles into the gulf. What a trip, nice fish man. Video was great!

There's a cleat inside the chain locker to tie the end of the anchor rope to so you don't loose it! Ask your Dad, he knows where it is, it's his boat.

Just came home with some Big Blue Fin Tuna last week ranging 40-175 lbs each. It was a 2 day trip out of Mexico on the Pacific side launched out of San Diego but limited both day limits on my first day. I actually slept in on my second day since I couldn't catch anymore and there were no other open water pelagics around trying to find anything else. Maybe I should have re-hooked on a big rig system to see what I could have caught using one of my smallest Blue Fin as bait which would have been "The World's Most Expensive Bait" sequel...lol 😲 Oh, I did miss out on a rare occurrence, I had two "Massive"Mola mola sunfish actually following in a Blue Fin I was realling in and they were so huge we thought they were big sharks coming in with those dorsals out of water. I've never reeled one in, have no idea what they would taste like, but the following day on Western Outdoor News they reported a record Mola mola caught and brought in so I'm assuming some do in fact eat them and looking at the size of his "record Mola mola", I'd really argue that the two which came in just 10' feet off the stern side of our charter boat were easily as large and looking back, I should have passed my tuna off to another fisherman and grabbed another rod for a fast cast to try and catch one because they were just chillin' next to the boat as if just watching what was going to happen to that Tuna and never left until it was finally gaffed and carried out of the water onto the boat.

You know how much I like to find sand dollars in sea scallops please give me my nets ready get plenty of hemp rope I love hemp broke you know I sell a lot of hemp rope in my bait and tackle shop make sure you get some chicken necks I love to catch crabs my favorite is catching crabs with Brooke and Melissa she has lots of crabsYou can does Florida lobsters you can only get them from a woman those crabs and lobsters they sell the best you can only get them from a woman those shrimp you know what I mean it was imitation crab meat you can only get up in Illinois she's a real tuna canter huh

If ever you wanna drop down some giant blue crabs, jamaicn reds or super blues for cubera, let me know. Just ask you hook me up with a plate. 😋

Love that boat but those Verado engines are garbage. Gotta go with Yamaha or Suzuki. I am a marine service tech and the Mercury motors are terrible. Unless you are racing Mercury motors are the least reliable by far.

I'm not used to seeing lobsters like that. Are those spiney lobsters. I live in maine. I'm used to seeing big giant juicy claws attached to the lobster

Shellfish at the favorite diet hermit crabs all the way up to Green crabs all the way at the sand crabs all the way up to Blue Crabs all the way up to Snell's all the way up to clams all the way up to oysters all the way up to welts and I guess you have a bigger crab to take care of a crawfish have you found your white lobster yet they're really hard to find

Over here in Aus we call them reef Jack. Mangrove Jack. When the mangrove jack get bigger they leave the creeks and head out to the reef and get real big.

Here in Australia, although we mainly use hands to catch them, you can get away with just using a lacrosse stick😅😅😅

Try putting the lobster on backwards hook it from the tail first and then head facing out if they eat it tail first they'll always eat the hook first
