I used the original type Slik Stiks. No screwing separate bit to hold the flights in. Mine are the short ones. Its just the screw thread, then a tiny taper. Then you're at the flight.
Started to use extra short stems recently and now when I go back to short stems for a try I struggle with them🤣maybe I should give these a try for a luagh
Oh man! That would be a tough one for sure. Those darts weren't sticking in the board all that well. But... if there's a review it's going to have to be done 😂👍🏻
I'm wondering if the theory behind these is that your flights will be closer to the board than longer stems, so when you get deflections, your deflected dart point is more likely to stick closer to the point of the dart you deflected off of.
I probably have 15 sets off micro stems. The first ones I got off Amazon & they are 15mm & then some from A180 that are 13mm. I use the #1 cosmo with the D2 flight mostly. Amazing how some sets I have throw with the micro. Especially with a velos flight on a rear weighted darts. Did you have any problems grouping the micro shafts? I seemed to have more bad deflections. Thought maybe it’s because the flight was so close to the board
@@WorldwideDarts thanks for the reviews love to see them & have led me to a lot of great products as I come up on my second year throwing darts next month. Literally saved me a lot of money finding darts corner, dartshopper, & so on from your reviews. Expensive review idea but I love my cosmo flights & have been gradually working my way through the stem shapes in my length & the V,D, & W flight sizes. Amazing how many people don’t know about them or look over them because of a lack of colors maybe. L-style are great, but being able to dial in with 6 sizes of one shape of flight is pretty awesome I think.
Yeah much better with smaller flights for me. I only used the large flights because those were the only Designa flights I had. I try to match companies for a video
Cool video. I always wondered if you had a long enough dart if you could do something like this and it would work. Not sure how balance would affect it though. I would say it would only work with a front weighted or balanced dart. Rear weighted might be way too hard to throw.
