Tom is very well spoken chooses his words wisely and very smart with the strongman stuff. Might sound ignorant but this is a complement: I would never know he is autistic if he wasn’t open about it
I think that’s quite a ignorant remark ( I know you didn’t mean it to be) what do you expect with autism? A big ass sign on there for head? I’ve got 2 autistic boys that are completely different, 1’s really socially awkward, won’t look you in the eye n says inappropriate stuff were as the other talks fine but he prefers routines, certain colours, foods, clothes but suffers with massive anxiety n doesn’t understand emotions. The autistic spectrum is so long you can’t just put them in 1 box n you normally can’t tell just by looking or listening to someone, maybe if they had learning difficulties etc also.
@@FreddieK-h1u I totally respect that and yes I know there is a big spectrum. I’m just saying based on watching these videos he functions just as well as someone who is not on the spectrum at all. I know people that aren’t on the spectrum who don’t have as good of presentation skills as he does and are way more socially awkward. Again, I know it’s ignorant because I’m no expert on autism just trying to encourage Tom not that he needs it or that he lets it keep him back but just worth mentioning as a complement
@@FreddieK-h1u My goodness, I applaud your ability to eke out something to be offended by from what was clearly a compliment. Are we required to assume that people prefer to be autistic now, or are we still allowed to be complimentary of someone being able to imperceptibly overcome a disability? Geezus! Oh, and by the way, your virtue as being the mother of autistic children is adequately signaled. You are officially interesting now, so no need to go on further!
@@hillstruth My issue with what OP said is that it infers that people with autism are stupid and not well-spoken, when that is an incorrect thing to think. The complement could have been given by saying the first sentence, & saying that Tom is a good role model for people with autism instead of the second one.
The Stoltmans remind me of "The Big Knights!" Sir Luke, the finest swordsman in the land, and his brother, Sir Thomas, not the finest swordsman in the land.. but the most ENTHUSIASTIC!
Tom! Wear the gloves!! Its good advice. Any of those implements, but especially the diff or the engine block could cut your hands to bits if it slips. Why jeopardise your WSM bid?
holy shit you two are looking fucking strong.... and how easy tom picked up the loading implements... i have no referenze though they might just be "light" but holy shit he did that so easy... You guys gonna rock this event !!!
I love all the cameraderie (hope I spelled it correctly) that all the athletes and their teams have with each other. It's like Cannonball Run out-takes, but with giants and their mates. Best Wishes to the Stoltmans... howay the lads! :)
You and Brian going to finals out of your group, Luke! Looking forward to both Stoltman Brothers in the finals. Can't wait to see the results, and see the actual comp even more. That's the weather post-storm... always beautiful, dry, breezy... should have a great few days for comp. Watching Tom go through the loading objects to check for grip... all items that most folks would be using hydraulics to move around. Strength is just one of the most fascinating things to watch. Give it all you've got tomorrow! Thank you for the videos... keep 'em coming!
I don't what the deal is with Martins and Brian being allowed to bring their cameramen with them, but I just want you all you know that I genuinely love the authentic real self filming that you two are doing. Thank you all for putting so much of yourselves into making all of this happen and for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. Love from Tennessee!!
Martins' camerman - Romark - is there as an employee of someone else (maybe Rogue or someone like them). I've no idea why or how BS has his own cameraman there though.
I think that axle is going to catch a few people out in the loading race.Looks awkward. Good luck, boys, I’m glad to see your both looking confident. Nathan saw how many sweets Tom ate yesterday, so he’s down for eating a couple of lettuce leaves and a cucumber today!
The Part when Tom was picking up those Monster Trucks Objects looked like they weight nothing he just smashing them so easily, damn i wish you only the best Stoltman Brothers!!! Hopefully one of you Guys will win, may the best Man win.
Come on lads, having 2 brothers in the final would be amazing. 2 proud Highlanders aswell so that would be amazing. Where can we watch it does any1 know. All the best lads the black islers are definitely cheering u on.✌🏴👍 Edit, I also hope brian shaw gets to final. Hes an awesome strongman and an all round nice guy.
American over here, I’m in your corner forever but this year I hope Brian will get it just bc it’s pretty much his last chance for 5 before you guys win it every year!
I've been watching all your guys stuff since I saw you both on Eddie's channel. You guys are goals and have been helping me get through stressful times. I'd like to support you guys. Do you ship to the US?
I mentioned in yesterday's video that Eddie Hall also has Hannah (his videographer) with him from what I saw. I guess strings are being pulled, although maybe Eddie is classed as media now and the rules might be different to actual competitors.
@@stuarcari ye i saw her in Brians vid today. It could just be that they asked and since they are former winners and have larger YT channels they are allowed so they can have better content and help promote it a bit maybe? But then again all the people who watch Eddie and B are strongman fans anyway. Would have been nice if Simon was there to film more imo
I honestly want to see Brian win but like I said before if Tom or Luke wins I’m going to be just as happy. I really want to see one of them get a title eventually. Poor Tom definitely has the hardest group though
