This is the tallest woman in the world. Officially! She's never been on a plane. But she's studying at Harvard! This is Rumeysa Gelgi's incredible story. IG: rumeysagelgi Hosted by @DearAlyne
The fact that the tallest man is also from turkey is interesting. And man her voice really sounds like a male's even deeper than a male tbh. edit: okay bruh i know i will lose my heart from nas by editing the message but whats with people saying '' thats rude'' thats rude? I dont understand. I was just saying her voice is really deep. Idk what's the insult but okay.
Rumeysa is a really good example of how important a sound mind is compared to physical ability. Someone in perfect physical health, but with an unwell mind, wouldn't live nearly as effectively as Rumeysa does. Her parents did an amazing job, and I'm sure they're very proud.
Exactly! Thanks for putting this into words! I don't mean to disregard her difficulties in life, but she seems to be doing better than a lot of people despite her condition. Great personality, great parents!
@@incitatari9300 only 5 records? guess she didnt want to pay for any more! wheres longest foot, toe, forarm, yupper arm, lower leg, upper arm longest femur!
now just imagine she was born poverty stricken. we probably would have never heard from her. i sometimes wonder who all incredible people are born but are not able to realize that potential because of economic injustices
@@alexanderredhorse1297 Yes the freak show is a good thing for her! " i sometimes wonder who all incredible people are born but are not able to realize that potential because of economic injustices" this includes many in the developed world especially in the USA (Which is not a developed country actually)
This amazing woman has so much ambition. She's accomplished more in life than many of us without a medical disability. She gives me hope and brightened my day.
On November 8, 2022, Gelgi was able to fly on an airplane for the first time in her life. Turkish Airlines had to remove six chair rows from one of their planes to make her trip from Istanbul to San Francisco, California, U.S. a possibility. The event got media attention.
I truly believe that people who are given challenges like this are more accomplished souls than the average human being. I admire her positive attitude.
It honestly bothered me that they didn't mention that in the video. We saw her mother is still taking care of her after all these years! It requires courage and great patience.
No one talked about the mother, who was always there with her in the background. We have internalized a mother as someone who need not be spoken about and expected to be there always dedicated to the welfare of her children. Let us always take time to appreciate our mothers, who are the only creatures capable of giving unconditional love to their children, irrespective of how the child turns out
Her story is is really inspiring I’ve not really heard of this syndrome before but It might be pretty hard for her but I love how she is still happy and has a big smile on her face that’s why we should always support people who have a syndrome like Rumesya because not everyone enjoys and smiles her like all the time thank you Nas daily for educating us and telling us about different and special people around the world and I wish her best of luck on her first flight! Love you Nas daily! ❤️
Sending you love, respect and thanks lovely lady. I'm sure you struggling with alot of pain and discomfort yet you still smile and spread the message of love and kindness. You are truly inspirational. Thank you ❤
Looking at my life (not doing great right now), I feel ashamed for crying about it. How beautiful is she and happy with the gift of life! People like that come into this world to teach us something. As she so kindly does. Love and respect.
I know you wont read this but I wanted to say I love your message at the end of the video. I am a vet with PTSD and every day is a challenge. The struggle to be happy and see a good life is hard. Thanks for being you and spreading the word. Your an inspiration. long and healthy life. From Canada : )
If y’all want proof and evidence then don’t, becAuse, your a stranger seeking faults and errors and denounce it to the innocent to appear innocent to them. You humans are the reasons why I gave up philosophy. You humans are the reason the turnspit dog is extinct, you humans are the reason satan shake the world. You humans blame my Heavenly Father for all the wrong he had done when in reality satan is the one. You humans will lose a limb, will lost a love one, and will lose your homes by earthquakes. and you humans shall be punish for all wrongs you’ve done in the past.
Thank you for uploading this video. I was feeling very depressed due to my medical condition which is pretty normal, seeing her and her attitude made me realise how we mourn over things so easily without even realising that someone somewhere in the world must be experiencing something more severe than what we’re experiencing and still be hopeful. What she said, “remember how we respond to things is in our hands” made me see things differently. Thank you again.
@@C.U.Next.Tuesdayyeah this mentality can be damaging "God I haven't eaten anything in hours I wanna eat already! But there are people that can eat only once every 24 hours in small portions... I gotta stay strong since they have it worse"
Well, her condition got her a ton of help and even fame. Not everyone can be that lucky. And I mean, a lot of people would complain less if they had a fraction of the help she's gotten.
What a beautiful person. She is so positive and has a great personality. I wish her all the best and may she stay healthy and live a long and happy life ❤❤❤
wow this is amazing im surprised shes still staying strong and never knew that this syndrome can make her voice this deep :) shes such a soldier keep moving forward and learn new things as you live on (I learn something new each day)
Actually it's not really a coincidence:) Gigantism appears in a country that meets very particular healthcare level: 1) healthcare is good enough that you can survive with gigantism 2) healthcare is bad enough to not detect gigantism in early childhood and to not treat it Which fits perfectly for Turkey (no offense):)
@@jackholler3572 Eh? It is easily detectable by blood tests because of higher IGF1 hormone levels, and then after the blood test it's confirmed with MRI. There are also many warning signs in childhood that make pediatrician to investigate... Actually very high percentage of gigantism is detected during childhood in EU and US
@@jackholler3572 it's mostly caused by a tumor in specific spot in a brain, there are several treatments. Most common is a surgery or removal of the tumor by radiation therapy or both. Other than that, you can manage growth hormone levels and IGF-1 hormone levels in your body by medications. Are you really that stupid that you can't do a very simple Google search? You will find thousands of sources saying the same thing...
As someone diagnosed with autism in my 40s, I applaud and commend this woman's spirit. I try to educate people about autism, but some just don't want to know.
Autism is a developmental disability that affects all areas of behavior and perception. Approximately 10 out of every 10,000 children are diagnosed with autism and four out of five are males. Rumeysa doesn't let obstacles get in her way; I'd love to adopt her attitude!💗 I'm a work in progress I suppose, at 62. I've moaned loudly about my disability but that ends today!

Many people will believe I’m a bot, and in support of nas daily for his supposed heinous deeds. But I just want to see good in others. also I’m a stoical person whose into Christianity. I’m Philippino and I forgive his crimes
The best thing I see in this video is that her family is not needy, they have some money to support her. I always feel sad to see people struggle with health problems but had no money to be able to take care of them.
I made 2 interviews with basketball player Margo Dydek. She had height 2.18. But she was cute, wise and interesting person. Sadly, she died about 2012 year
@@Unconditional---love I dont see how your god blessed her at all, looks like a punishment if anything. But hey, your gods are notorious for punishing disbelievers and stoning adulterers and other nasties…
The world’s a unique place, we cannot have the same people. I congratulate this woman for her bravery not to be ashamed of herself but to put on her big smile and do things she truly enjoys. Thank you for teaching us an important lesson 🙏❤️
You can turn your weakness into your strength any time. Your mentality matters not your disabilities. Thanks NAS daily for covering amazing stuff like this
It's not how tall she is that shockes me but that her voice is so deep holy hell, and isn't it a big coincidence that the current tallest man is also from turkey they could be great couple in that case
