Her whole family benefits as well as the entire community since her sons are providing a valued service with the vehicle in the case. His Honor IS doing right by her family and the community too. Let's hope they figure out a title, insurance and registration for it!
What I like about her is that she has a progressive mindset: she learns lessons from her mistakes and she makes sure that her sons don’t repeat her path. However, she has poor judgment, which led to the wrong choice of conduct. She says that she didn’t have the role model. This is actually a great first step: recognizing the resources we have or don’t have. Her next step should be go find these resources, guidance, and role models for herself. Good books, good podcasts, good conversations, and some good practices of critical thinking and research, would all help her expand her view points and perspectives of how to navigate through life’s punches (such as her son’s parking situation.) She will then be able to make the right judgment, which will benefit both herself and her sons.
