Astros deserved to win the world series in 2015 and 2017

Yeah and no Mets fan wants to hear about 1988, where the Mets couldn't beat an overmatched Dodgers team they beat 10 out of 11 times in the regular season. Also don't bring up 1999 to any Mets fan and Kenny Rogers giving up the ball four base on ball that sent them home and sent the Braves to the World Series.

My parents are Mets fans. 2015 broke my mom’s determination to root for them and she stopped following baseball. My dad still follows them, but it’s mainly me that sees how they’re doing even though I’m a Braves fan. No I don’t hate the Mets, I think they’re long overdue for a WS title. Like the 2005 Red Sox fans, I’ll be fine if we don’t repeat, but I do have hope that this year’s Mets team will win it all

@@Dreybaconjr I meant having never won a World Series game. The Rockies made their only Series appearance to date in '07, and were swept by the Red Sox, and in '05, the Astros made their 1st in 2005, and were swept by the Red Sox, but the Astros did win the Series in '17, and lost 4-3 in '19, so as of now (7-14-21), the Rockies hold the distinction of being the only team ever to reach a World Series without winning a single game.

They don't deserve to be world series champs

There actually is no solid proof they cheated during the playoffs, only during the regular season at home. No proof they used any system during away games either. There is also proof that not all the players used the system. People like Altuve refused to use it, and actually got angry when anyone mentioned it that season. Also, if you look at their regular season stats, you’ll see that they performed better on the road than at home. While that season is mainly known for them using a system JUST at home, it should be known that they scored 395 runs at home and a whopping 501 runs during road games. Their strikeout rate was also lower on the road than it was at home (you can look it up, it was). I’m not excusing their actions, but stripping their title seems a little unreasonable considering they most likely didn’t cheat during the playoffs. No there were no trash can bangs, and yes, the whistles have been analyzed, and people have found no correlation to their at bats and the whistling. Also no I’m not an Astros fan.

Hell fucking no the Astros absolutely earned the world series title in 2015 and 2017. It does however serve the Astros right to lose it in 2019.

Astros made a stupid decision and took a risk in 2019 to steal signs because the Astros wanted to become a super team dynasty like New York in the 1990's by guarantee winning and it really backfired on the Astros. Astros still made the playoffs in 2020, just the season should certainly have been cancelled with the Nationals and Dodgers as 2020 joint champions. Also, if the 1994 world series would not have been cancelled it would have been a rematch of the 1989 world series and the Giants would have won it all.
