OK, so I was an RO at WSX - why wasn't my stage shown you miserable bugger! I see I made this point 6 years ago but never got any reply! Thanks for nothing. I had occasion to DQ a South African competitor who moaned and went to arbitration. I think the fact that they had put a round into the ground just in front of their feet probably was important. At least that's what I remember - long, long time ago now. ;-)
minervius The UK governments around the times of 1996 &97 sold us out for votes, nothing more & nothing less. Deflected the Dunblane Massacre & the 100 closure order away from them.
I've had the pleasure of meeting Rob Leatham, Todd Jarrett, Kay Miculek, and Doug Koenig at some USPSA/3G matches! Excellent shooters and friendly people!
Love the bike! I missed out on these awesome stages which used to be allowed, like cars etc but at least we still are allowed handguns in Australia (well for now) One of the UK's best IPSC shooters emigrated out here after Dunblaine and now runs IPSC at Bowral Pistol Club. A completely lovely bloke and we are lucky to have him.
I was there!!! That was back when we were (semi) trusted by our fantastic Govt ..... Whoever uploaded this deserves a big thanks from me!!! I 'lost' aka lent my VHS (remember that?) tape to I forget who a number of years ago and have tried to find another off and on since.
IPSC always has an epic drinking-fest lol Australia is upholding the fine tradition, we feel for you Brits very keenly...there but for the potential capriciousness of Govt go we, as well.
In the days before the do-gooders ruined the sport of pistol shooting. I wish I was 10'years older, then at least I would of had the chance to shoot a handgun at Bisley.
