To me, my fellow Slayer, Levy and Hulshult's work is superior. It feels more punchy, more *metal* (and less electronic-ish). Even though I love Mick's, I find myself coming back to TAG 1 & 2 soundtrack much more.

The TAG Soundtracks are amazing. They’re sound design, IMO, mixes both the older doom games style with Micks style. The older games were admittedly more heavy metal than synth metal while Doom 4 and Eternal were more synth metal. The TAG Osts are a nearly perfect balance of both.

The gameplay is just fine, it’s just harder than the normal game. The story is what pissed people off. So I halfway agree with your statement. My favorite level is the one before immora in tag2 and my all time favorite level is the blood swamps from tag1, the difficulty is enticing and it gives me a chance to give it my all when playing without holding back. (Sorry I’m one of those nightmare freaks who plays and doesn’t do much else all day)

@@Snikeyslilclipsman TAG 2 is easier than TAG 1... I've never struggled much on Ultra-nightmare compared to TAG 1

IMO, the master level absolutely made up for the base level not living up to the music.

Ngl My second favorite TAG OST is a tie between blood swamps and UAC Atlantica. Both are bangers and it’s hard to choose which one is best!

The eerie ambience makes the demons feel like the slayers on his way to get them, the closer he gets the louder it grows. At least that’s the way I think of the games music

Classic mode is absolutely insane, loved it

@@IconOfSin Awesome, one critique, and this is just a preference, but at the end of the song maybe fit in one of the end of encounter mixes where it dies back down? This is just personal preference as I don't like hard cut offs, but a great mix nonetheless.

Nothing yet, honestly up to my eyeballs with work this year, all the freelance gigs are back full swing. I rerender rather than convert (since otherwise I'm outputting compressed for YT) so I need a chance to sit down and go through everything to export FLAC and make sure there are no silences or other weird shit, add the metadata so it (should) organise naturally if used as a local directory for Spotify under the composer's name... it is on my radar just been a shitheap of a year so far. I'll be advertising the links better as well and probably looking at re-hosting since RU-vid looks like it's gearing up to purge channels like this. Or bury them at least.

Honestly couldn't imagine living my college years through this, but the economic crash at the time probably levels out the shit-luck-ometer. Keep your head up Spakes! If you need space on your g drive I can upload high-Q mp3s (smaller filesize, quality is honestly fine for 99% of setups) could easily set up a batch transcode when I'm doing the last few Mick G flacs. I don't know how reliable Mega is but that folder isn't going anywhere either.... Unless another US law comes in to wipe Mega off the face of the earth, again... Anyway FR keep your head up bro..

@@IconOfSin Nah, FLACs are fine. It was just some old shit needed to be removed because it was not needed anymore. Tracking it down, though, that's a problem since not everything shows up that was uploaded via GDrive account, only stuff that was uploaded to that account's folders... Thanks. Godspeed.
