"World War Three" & "Dalek" | Doctor Who Reaction (1x5-1x6) ~First Time Watching~ 

The Daleks turned Doctor Who into a hit show. I am quite sure Doctor Who would be just a long forgotten, obscure 60ies BBC show if it was not for the Daleks.

It's not a accident I know of one youtuber who closed his comments for a month because of the spoilers

@@deggsymarley I know of someone recently who had to close the comments because they were approaching a certain episode and people just kept being so stupid

It's worse when they just don't even think that the thing they're talking about is a spoiler, like a certain thing that happens at the end of season 1. People will come in on reactions to episode 1 and just openly talk about it as if it's common knowledge, and mention how they can't wait until that thing happens. Maybe they think it's fine because it was so long ago. Maybe they're so entrenched in the fandom that they can't imagine that someone wouldn't already aware of it. Either way, it doesn't occur to them that someone would consider it a spoiler, and it's so frustrating. And then there's the ones who are "just trying to be helpful" by writing paragraphs of text explaining all the lore and background and structure in efficient detail (sometimes even mentioning specific episodes and seasons of major character deaths, and the ways they impacted the show going forward), as if the show doesn't already convey all of that in a much better way as part of the story. Again, people do this on reactions to episode 1, if not announcement videos that a channel will be starting the show soon. I don't understand them at all. (And I really don't understand the reactors who see these and respond with "thanks, so helpful!" instead of "hey, what the hell?")

@@thesquire9966 and then there’s the people who have already told him who stars in torchwood, again completely forgetting series 1 of Doctor who snd have already told him what’s happening in series 2 episode 3.
