I show my girlfriend WORLD WAR Z (2013) for the FIRST TIME! This movie is super intense but also super fun at the same time! Brad Pitt delivers an amazing role as usual and this is considered to me a classic in it's on right!

Movie Summary:
Life for former United Nations investigator Gerry Lane and his family seems content. Suddenly, the world is plagued by a mysterious infection turning whole human populations into rampaging mindless zombies. After barely escaping the chaos, Lane is persuaded to go on a mission to investigate this disease. What follows is a perilous trek around the world where Lane must brave horrific dangers and long odds to find answers before human civilization falls.

This was the best zombie movie I’ve seen. The science of it. It was sitting in front of their faces of how to kill them or stop them from creating more zombies, but they couldn’t see it. These bastards were freaking scary. The way they ran, moved, just jumped off of buildings. Crazy.

I'd highly recommend the book! Shows how the war affected people from all over, from the beginning to many years after. Super cool look at an alternative worlds history Edit: I prefer 28 Days Later for zombies but mostly cuz I'm not big on cgi

The way they did the audiobook for this was excellent and filled with a lot of great actors. It really feels like your listening to a documentary about a war that actually happened.

Fans of the book this was based on really did not like this film because it happened way differently in the novel, but I thought this movie was good. The last half turned into a typical creature fest, but was still pretty tense and nerve-wracking, so it's a good loose adaptation of a good horror novel.

As soon as Gerry looked at Segen after they got on the passenger jet, it aroused his paternal instincts as a dad. He could tell just how much physical pain she was in based on her stump. He hated seeing her in that much physical pain and he just wanted her to feel better. If he didn't do anything, it would go against his every paternal instinct as a dad

Saw a meme during COVID of John C Riley praying from Talladega Nights that said, "Dear Baby Jesus, if the next stage of this pandemic is zombies, please let them be the ones from Walking Dead and not World War Z, cuz some of us are fat and can't run very fast." 🤣 Amen! Love this one! Haven't read the book. I know they're very different. I'm one of those weird librarians that doesn't get too bothered when they change things for the movie version. But looking at the movie just on its own, I really enjoy this one. Probably my favorite zombie movie. Although, I also enjoy some of the funny zombie movies like Zombieland and Warm Bodies. If you haven't seen Warm Bodies, you should give it a watch! It's Romeo and Juliet with zombies, but as a comedy.

I saw this as a high school field trip when I was maybe 16 along with other students including some big basketball players now.. We were absolutely all scared and our teachers were feeling so bad that they took us to see the movie

I’ve always enjoyed this movie a lot, tho I know some people like to knock it for one thing or another but who cares really.😅 I do know that when people tend to go in completely blind with no real knowledge other than that it’s a zombie movie, they normally love it. The issue that arises when they go into it thinking that it’s related to another property of the same name is that…of course they tend to feel misled &/or they start to compare or wtf ever🤷‍♀️ Which is imo a bit unfair as, other than the name and zombies in common…it’s not like they were billing it as if it were connected in any way really. But anyways…yea, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and of course as always Brad Pitt is my dude and definitely not just a pretty face, as some seem to think🤦‍♀️ He’s a damn good actor and ffs he can’t help it that he’s ridiculously good looking y’all 😅😉👍 Seriously tho, I must agree with you about the cgi, at the time it was almost mind blowing and even now it looks pretty damn good most of the time, and I know some people are fans of the typical TWD type of slow zombies but imo the zombies in this movie are absolutely the scariest ones…period! They are like the 28 days later ones (*infected*not zombies I know stfu😏) but even more terrifying cause imo they behave like a hoard of army ants oss right?🤨 idk but either way I vividly remember being startled by their behavior even tho I saw the trailer first…I mean for real tho…the like…physics of it all is almost awe inspiring to see in the theater when it came out! I just really enjoyed seeing that aspect of it alot! But aside from all that stuff….Awesome reaction my dudes!

No. It's a boiler-plate zombie movie and is total adaptation failure, as it shares very little with the source material. The book was a best-selling smash that blew people away. It has such a terrible score from me, that there are no "Fun Facts" to be had.

I think I pretty much grew up having more of a love for Disney ! Hannah Montana, wizards of waverly place, zack and Cody lol yeah for a long time that’s all the stuff I watched growing up. I was never allowed to watch certain things until I got older. That was just one of the tv shows I never got into So no offense taken it’s the truth lol gotta catch up
