World-renowned architect Bjarke Ingels challenges himself and all of us to think beyond the status quo and dream big. Why shouldn’t you be able to ski down a power plant? He refers to his projects as “promiscuous hybrids”-they combine seemingly disparate elements and turn fiction into fact.
A Future of StoryTelling Film. Produced by Melcher Media and KSPR

The clarity with which your ideas are expressed, both as diagrams and in speech is poetic and logical, 'If documentary is to document our world as it already is, fiction is to fantasize about how it could be. In that sense, architecture is the fiction of the real world'.

c'mon, every architecture student knows that this is what we do in university but then in real world our ideas get cut off labeling them as "not commercially viable" !

that's so nice until the plant + waste image. incineration of waste- any waste is extremely unsustainable and shouldn't occur in the future. you cannot. waste should in the first not be created, recycled or upcycled. the puffy rings of whatever he things is created when waste is burnt looks like an evil belittlement
