Getachew is a political theorist at the University of Chicago. She will speak to the themes of her monograph Worldmaking After Empire: The Rise and Fall of Self-Determination, which reconstructs an account of self-determination offered in the political thought of Black Atlantic anticolonial nationalists during the height of decolonization in the twentieth century.

I'm interested in listening to these conversations but it beats me how the quality could be so.... low (to use a euphemism). Quite frankly, it comes across as careless. .... little wonder there's only one comment. Too bad, the content is really interesting. (The old white men from U of Toronto, e.g. Vervaeke, are doing a much better job, I'm afraid.)
