Im an old guy who wanted to wanted back into it and watched for a long time before bought a new one. Started with a bangood special and now have a rustler 4x4. X Maxx is my dream RC. It took me YEARS to get an XMAXX and now I have one, I will never sell it. It is the best truck I have ever owned! I want to put the widemaxx kit on it soon. I have some on road tyres on it now and it loves it!

Honestly, the Raminator tires were pretty awesome on the Xmaxx. Can you gear down and lower the stress on the drivetrain?

Fun vid as always Kev. I was going to sympathise with 8s Steve, but you gave him a whole new car, which was classy. I'd guess with that Xmaxx collision with the cheaper car, the cheaper car probably hit the Xmaxx on the suspension arm. Saying that, I'm amazed you didn't break an arm when you were running the Xmaxx with slicks and hit that pole. You never can tell.

It sure seems like RC has gotten a lot more durable in the last 10 years. I haven't been into it as much, wrenching them was always a chore and not fun. It seems better, more field serviceable.
