that driving is soooooooo cool! I never thought that that would ever be possible with an rc car. And it's also amazing how almost indistructable rc cars have become, specialy this one.
The X Maxx is an amazing machine lol bashers are a completely different line of RC. They can take the abuse mainly because that's all their maid for. You try to put a stadium truck or track racer through the same torment, they won't make it lol
Nice video I used to love my Tamiya rc buggy’s and trucks in the late 80s hornets and the like, prefer fast electric boats now can’t beat a summers day on the lake
I know you get crazy amount of comments but i was really hoping you can help me.. my esc on my 8s xmaxx is screwing up im not sure if i should buy a new one or go with a different brand i see you use the hobbywing max 6.. should i go with the max 6 for 8s bashing also? Would it over heat ive never really used anything but Traxxas and castle.. if you could let me know that would be awesome..
I use a max8 with 2200kv in a emaxx on 6s constantly and in southern California my temp stay way low. I use a hobbywing sc8wp and 4000kv on 4s in my 2nd stampede temp stay way low. Going to test the hobby wing sct esc 4k kv this weekend on 3s in a dhk wolf 2. Both my max8 and sc8wp escs have been underwater a bunch of times no problems... 100 degree f no problem... price? Half the price of castle... atleast. Two of buddies that I run with have the stock udr which always have esc problems or unbinds often. Really odd that's just my two cents.
James_0719 I have a good few floureon batteries and a couple of them have over 70 runs on them a pop at over 40 minute run times on my 10th scale. Use a venom charger for mine and works quite well for them. Relatively cheap charger and it slowly cuts down the amperage as the battery fills up when they get 4.17-4.18 volts a cell it'll cut down to 0.2 amps and trickle charge the rest of the way. Seems to make my batteries last a longer time. On eBay about 50 bucks for one
James_0719 no problem bud. There's 2 slightly different ones, one I have is able to do dual 3s lipos and nothing more cause that's all I've been running is 3s so far. Then there's one that'll charge dual 2s lipo, or a single 3s and a single 4s pack. Both the same deal just able to charge different size packs. Not the fastest charger since it slowly cuts down the amperage as they charge. My 5500mah packs from dead to full take about a hour and twenty minutes roughly, and my 3000mah packs are 40-45 minutes. Looked again on eBay for ya and the dual 3s charger is right at $57.90 with free shipping, and the dual 2s, single 3s and 4s one is at $45.79. Little box looking deal with a 3 button setup and LCD screen. 3 screen setups, one tells you your cell count, voltage and amps as a whole, other breaks it down by cell and shows you voltage per cell, and the 3rd shows you the amps per cell and when each cell is full individually and will stop charging that cell. All cells full it'll beep and shut down charging all together if you happen to walk away from it for a period of time. For the money it's a pretty good charger that'll get some extra life outta your batteries.
