The last 30 seconds is by far the most important part of the video (shoe rotation and drop variety). 👌 Keep these coming. Fast runs fast and slow runs slow. 🏃♂️
Great video, I fuckin love shoes. I hate spending money on anything, except shoes. I just picked up a pair of Salomon Speedcross 5s that I'm dying to try out. And a pair of Hoka Torrents. Never tried a Hoka before, different feel for sure. I had a pair of Cascadia's once, found they were clunky as hell. I like the look of those Saucony Peregrine's, I'll have to add them to my to-buy list. I think Diaz harps on zero drop, he wont like you showing up in those Saucony's. 24:05 - ADD takes over for a second.
Big fan Hunter, really enjoy watching all of your content. I’m trying the VJ Extreme for the first time this weekend in Charlotte Spartan, hoping they are as good as advertised. Hope to see you back in Spartan races soon.
Salomon is the best for training/racing trails. They are like wearing a shoe that's already been broken in for you, but still have the new shoe bounce. The racing shoes barely last 500 miles though.
I wish good shoe companies specifically made a shoe line for OCR. Obstacle Course Racing, like Tough Mudder and Spartan Race, has become very popular. The hiking and trail running shoes are not good enough to handle Mud Runs, OCR, and aggressive trail running.
I need a pair for sled work (pulls / pushes), plyos (tuck jumps, high knees, side to side bounds, etc.), jump rope, weighted bodyweight (lunges, squats), farmers carries, that type of thing. I prefer a wide toe box, some stack height but not too much, needs to offer stability and save me from overpronating. Any suggestions?
Hi I’m an older chap coming to hyrox for some fun. I’m neutral as a runner. Can you give me some options that would suit me, 55, 195lbs that are more suited to Hyrox than out and out running shoes, that also look good but not too in your face flashy. I’m training for approx 12 hours per week and no longer run any further than 10k. Cheers! Nice video. Russ
I have the speeds and pros. Put over 400 miles respectively on 2 separate pairs of speeds and even at 400 miles they're a great shoe. The speed is a shoe that anyone can wear and will love. The pro is for serious runners and race day only
i love this video, i have a shoe problem and enjoy anything shoe related, ha! I have just about every shoe out there and right now my favorite is the Brooks launch 8, comfey and has a great mechanical feel, i actually just ordered a pair of the 7's because they're on sale, also liking the Hyperion tempo, VJ's for trail
I need a tan! What was the version of the Elite without the Carbon plate? Working on my 5K at the mo and I’m not feeling the new version of the Altra Rscalante Racers ☹️
LordQuiche I believe the version you are referring to is the Razor+ or possibly the Saucony Endorphin Speed. The Razor+ is here: werunrepublic.com/collections/skechers/products/mens-gorun-razor
@@werunrepublic ah thanks so much for replying. I’m looking for a replacement for my Escalante Racers as I’m not feeling the new version. I’ll have a squizz now. Thanks again 🖖
