Take off your visor or get a motorcycle helmet for one current Way You Are I know the dirt bike helmet pulls a lot just cuz it's a simple fact I didn't have a helmet one day and I had to ride my motorcycle to work and I didn't want to ride without a helmet I took the visor off but I still got tons of wind dragon side of the helmet itself get a proper motorcycle helmet if you're going to do speed test talk yourself in better and if you have to aim your feet back towards the back of the wheel if you really want to get that ultimate speed do the Superman they do it on road bikes and they can pass everybody they made a rule against it now because people were using it

Didn't the BAC controller on the stock motor make the 25-26 hp as well? To me this just show how incredible the BAC 8000 is as a controller. To do a motor, controller and battery swap and have gained 3% hp really show the power of the old controller.

Aerodynamics will help, motorcross lid is a wind break, full face road helmet, nothing protruding off your suit or bike, even a small screen to tuck behind will add mph.

If you’re going to go for top speed, shouldn’t you change your helmet you have to be getting a lot of drag with the Moto style.

I'm not sure how the magnets don't fly out of the rotor of that electric motor😮 you'd be going for a hell of a skid down the pavement if it locked up

I'm having trouble getting higher speeds on my setup. I'm running a TC500, stock motor, and an EWATT 72v57ah battery. I have 16" supermoto wheels and have my outer diameter calibrated correctly. I'm running the stock 48t sprocket. With no field weakening, running 18kw, I can get a maximum of 65mph on a straight flat stretch. This speed seems a bit slow considering that if I run 8.5kw I can reach 58mph in the same conditions. I'm hesitant to run any field weakening because at 18kw after around a mile of riding my motor overheats heavily and shuts off. Are there any settings I can use to get higher speeds? I see people running almost identical setups (BAC4000, stock motor, 17" sumos, 48t sprocket, 18kw) and reaching speeds of over 80mph without any overheating problems. What might it be?

Careful on the sidewalks, man. I am getting flashbacks to 70 mph on a sidewalk at 16. Love this setup though, just not sure I would put it on a Suron with so many options these days, but I understand it's still the most popular choice.

Congrats, this is huge! Really curious, why did you go with you current battery over the more mainstream 72v EBMX variants? AFAIK they are the only ones who use pouch cells instead of cylindrical cells which allow them to have greatly reduced voltage drop under load among other beneficial electrical characteristics. Their new 72v "Race" battery can apparently put out 360a peak discharge for 51 seconds until cut off

I've seen people hit 70 downhill on a road push bike. Get a road cycling kit and you'll be fine doing it straight to see how fast and aero you could get.

based! I just got torp motor but Im using EBMX X9000 controller, once my fork is done Ill start doing range comparison vs stock motor, hopfully new torp motor can give few extra miles. I cant do speed test like you cuz my 72v battery has stock harnes... :( Really amazing video! Congrats!
