Andri Ragettli did the worlds first quad cork 18 on skis! The professional Freeskier from Switzerland was only 18 years old when he stomped his first Quad ever. Enjoy the video!!
Weltklass. Respect und wiiter so ♔
I don't really understand skiing language... he did a cork and then 3 off - axis backflips how is this a quad cork 18 lmao someone please explain this to me
I swear they count rotations differently in skiing or something. I watched it a few times frame by frame and I only counted a 1080. Did he mean to say 1080? Like maybe the zero is in the wrong spot?
He does do 5 full "spins" but to the guy above, cork in skiing at least isnt inverted so doesnt count in the rotation number. E.g. simpler cork: cork 7 is 2 "spins" in off axis, no flips
Snow sports are weird. Stomping a trick is a good thing in snow sports, but in skateboarding, that means you landed on it but did not ride away...... Either way this was dope.
Those guys aren't corking. They have been doing quad twisting flips since 1983 though, and they're still impressive. And this isn't the first cork on skis anyways. That honor goes to Wacko Wells
