Maybe its the F87 BMW M2 Which had a N55 instead of the S55. Later with M2 Competition, it finally received the S55 motor alongside with that beautiful carbon brace under the hood that came along with that motor in every M cars!

@@benrutherford5544 Yeah maybe it is, I guess it's dual pipe and not one single pipe, as far as my knowledge is, dual pipe makes it more cleaner and tonal but single pipe still retains some of that roar and rasp but gives it way more body. It's an objective thing I guess but I kinda like how F80 sounds, especially because of that DCT shifting gears, it really snaps next gear or more like, whips it hard which makes insanely good straight cut gear sound!!

@@slasheerr946 very true, however I watched a video of one of these exhaust systems being fitted and it was essentially the same as a stock system but with less restriction and of course a wider bore.. the angle of both pipes was slightly different I guess - would love to know how it works

@@benrutherford5544 Well I guess, the basics are that one pipe is longer than the other thus making it "equal length" than the other. It's very similar to Equal Length Headers you can buy for C7 Corvette Z06 which dramatically changes the sound and tone of the car, almost sounds like a American flat plane crank in some ways with obvious cross plane crank sound alongside it, If you have time, you should check out Z06 with equal length header video, it's pretty wild how big of a difference a pipe can make with different lengths makes on the exhaust!!

I don't think it sounds like ass, i think it sounds a lot better than a ton of the other ones out there, yes. however too loud. Also, yes, the M3 / M4's sound like shit overall.

I think you have no idea how fast this actually was… And if you pay attention to the video you can see the track still wasn’t completely dry. Also, 5th lap ever on the ring (3 of those were in 2019) 😉
