So what? They're spending money as they choose, just as you and I. To each their own. I enjoy these documentaries! It's a life I'll never live and sometimes it's nice to live vicariously watching them.
You could get way more for your money if you would feed the hungry house the homeless.pay for medical care for the sick (America) throw a big Christmas dinner with santa and gifts. I'm sure friends would not understand but appreciate the fact you donated their gift to those who really need it.
Don't these billionaires have any real hobbies? I mean talk about a lack of substance. Is a Rolex with diamonds really worth $90k more than a top tier Brietling? I mean how utterly depressing are these people.
I think I'm going to be 😝. I am so blessed to have have my daughter in my life, a roof over our heads, some food on our table and our little furry ones. Of course some wonderful people in our lives too. I know it's their money but please 😛
ronnie m I would use the money to do a big round the world trip in first class and do everything on my bucket list. When I get back I will build houses for all my friends and I
What person of sound mind would possibly follow the guidance of the guy with all that impossibly silly gold kitsch hanging around his neck?! They actually mention something like "hand-crafted" when they begin brain storming about the tree topper. Right away my mind goes to the magical craftsmanship of the woodworkers I saw on a visit to the Black Forest. Or, recalling a documentary about the making of the hand-embroidered silk kimonos in Japan, my brain wheels start spinning. Maybe some kind of garland for the tree made in this breathtaking way? As an artist, the thought of creating -- wait! -- No! -- NOT "creating". "Producing" (?) a piece like the tree topper, something put together in perhaps 20 minutes with T square and triangle (with a sandwich in one hand, maybe), is hardly worth a yawn! Diamonds are expensive, but hardly original or creative. For my money, give me something with the soul of artistry behind it.
I have experience with both the rich and the poor and one personality trait is predominant.....the rich brag about how much they've spent on an item and the poor brag about how much they've saved ……….mind you its the same darned item, just presented differently. Note the spendy items are always spaced far apart and in their own "space" or isolated completely and given that 'special' presentation. I knew an no talent photographer who made buckets of money and yet no talent, but lived by the belief that perceived value is what makes you money. Trust me its in the presentation not the talent....the talent stays the same...….the rest is just bunk.
I think having the money to give someone something designed and made for them is wonderful. If I could afford it, I would do it. Like a custom built truck for my husband, and a custom ring made for my mother...I would def do it! But I wouldn't buy the most expensive thing just because it was the most expensive. That is just stupid...
khalil al rashid the rabbit didn’t sell, I’m not that far into this program yet to see if the Ruby nose has sold or not, but my guess would be to turn it into jewelry.
Its awesome to have all that money, but I would at most buy a few vintage Bentley, get a butler, maid a few homes in the tudor style. If I was a multimillionaire or billionaire I wouldn't spend my money on that puke ugly golden octopus or that ugly midnight piece of jewelry lol.
