Kraton for bashing . Shredder for speed run . Yep that is the way I do . Shredder arm and axle are so weak to handle a bad landing I made a conversion for Shredder all suspension arms ,axle bearing hub from kraton It can be a bashsing truck now . thank you for a great video as always

This is really amazing and impressive on the shredder I should send you mine for a complete overhaul one day Yours is an absolute monster however mine is in retirement due to a violent flip in sub freezing temps and the entire front left is busted out

Thanks for watching! On an 18t pinion it’s geared to go fast but still have fun in the bottom end. Top speed on these two have been 64mph. I’m happy with that. They get to that speed in a hurry weighing nearly 20lbs. Thanks for supporting the channel! 🤙🏼☢️

What rims do you have on the kraton? Love that setup . My bro has a stock shredder and I’m trying to talk him into doing speed runs with it. Edit- I see those are Rovan wheels? Never seen those I thought you were talking about tires. I’ll do some googlin
Welcome to the channel Evergreen085! Finding these wheels and tires was very time consuming. I have a whole series of videos on the Super Shredder every single time I took it out I blew a set of tires. Proline Duratrax I’ve been through them all. None of them will stand up to the power of two motors. However Roven wheels and tires are a whole different ball game. I swear by the Rovan tires now many of my RC‘s have these shoes. The tires have bead lock bite lock technology. They are among the toughest tires I’ve ever seen however not all of their tires are created equal. If do you look at my previous videos I have many different types of their tires running. There is one catch though they require a special hub adapter to allow for the 24 mm wheel. In total a set of hubs wheels and tires should cost close to $200. If you’re curious about the hubs that I’m using I go over that in my FireTeam build video. Thanks for being here! 🤙🏼☢️
Thanks for being here Jeff! Yes sir those diffs are the same original diffs that came in the Shredder. I shimmed braced and BULLETPROOFED this model and it is a certified beast. Out jumps the Xmaxx out runs my K8 EXB. Power to weight is sick…….just ridicules! I have a video taking apart the center diff for close inspection for any wear. My BULLETPROFFING process doesn’t just work….. it out standing! Top speed so far at a little over half throttle has been 64mph lifting the front wheels off the ground. Unbelievable! It took me 4 sets of 24mm belted wheels and tires to find some that would hold up to this crazy power. I have 5 Shredders all BULLETPROOFED 3 different owners running 6s or more with ZERO failures! I don’t at the moment but I might put together a kit for the BULLETPROFFING process in the future. I’m working on a 2nd Gen Diff for the Shredder able to take 16 cells of power. I made a set for testing last summer for the purpose of running 2x 8s systems. The Gen 3 Radioactive Shredder I will be redesigning the chassis and drivetrain for a unbelievable power plant. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! Thats a great question and one I haven’t been asked in a while. I used JBI Arrma 17mm to 24mm hubs. But they don’t fit without modifications. You have to make a long shim to fit the gap between the Redcat hub and Arrma hubs. They work great but are a lot of work to build. Thanks for being here! Sweet video bro. Loved the comparison. Top notch. For me I hate the chassis design of the front of the shredder. Drivetrain is small like 1/10 th scale. But with the very long chassis it's great at speed runs. Since parts are cheap for it I like it for speed runs also. Both reasons. I destroyed the body on mine. And have shelfed it until I can decide what to do with it next. 🤔 maybe a nitro conversion. Not sure. Winter is coming fast up here in the great north west. I want to build a kit. I love building. Something for playing in the snow. I'll be waiting for your next video. I won't be making any videos in near future I don't think. But possible cen collosus video. Maybe. It's in the works.
