This is a daily scheduled flight between the two communities of Fort Albany and Kashechewan on the coast of James Bay, ON. Canada. The airports are 4nm (7.4km) apart. Depending on the wind and weather the flight can take 3-5 minutes.
The flight occurs multiple times daily in both directions passing through as intermediate stops. The communities are separated by a large river delta. They also have no road access except during winter when the winter road is open. In the summer the river at times is too dry to allow boat access between the towns.
The scheduled flight occurs all year long.

Usually the flight is done with the gear done and flown visually. If weather conditions do not allow, then the gear is retracted and an instrument approach (RNAV) is flown.
