Realy like WWN. When i first tryed to create a character i was confused about what was the warrior skill and combat foci. Im heppily that i found your vídeo and found that i done it right. Im new to your channel so i dont know if you know Scarlet Heroes, another Kevin game but dedicated to 1 Player 1 GM with the GM oracles in the book. So it can be played solo. Interested to know the rest of this play séries, so i will follow. Thanks for the video
Ace, welcome aboard! Yes, the writing for the Warrior and Expert Foci was not as clear as I would have liked. Basically it’s two sentences in a paragraph at the beginning of the Foci section, and not highlighted. I’m going to forgive it because Kevin is so awesome 😀. I actually bought Scarlet Heroes before I bought the other Sine Nomine stuff. I talk about the SH Oracle in my choosing the right oracle video. @@booksbricksandboards783 I'm already attached to my character and I know that is bad LOL I know death can easily happen. I just downloaded Worlds Without Number. Think that would be later down the road. Trying to see what I can do and enjoy without getting in over my head. I don't want to have to have systems going with systems right now, if that makes sense. I downloaded Ironsworn yesterday, seems like I'll have everything I need in that one system. I found a podcast that starts at the beginning of creating your world and goes on from there, so going to start listening to that today when out and about.
Ask The Oracle podcast is great, it has the author of Ironsworn and his son playing a campaign together from start to finish. If I were going to tell someone a great starting point for solo RP, Ironsworn or Starforged would be top of the list. I would suggest that you will want to have the asset cards for Ironsworn (either home printed or professionally printed copy). Good luck!

Cheers for the vid, looking forward to seeing the story develope. Recently getting into solo RPG's and I aquired for myself Scarlet Heroes, havent played it as yet. I notice its the same author, in your opinon how do they compare?
I owned Scarlet Heroes for a long time before I got around to using it. SH is most similar to Godbound (in my opinion) in that it uses the fray die and converts HD to HP, but it is still its own thing even in that comparison. SH is in some ways more similar to BX than WWON, in that it doesn’t have skills and foci but in others it is more different than WWON in the changes it makes to accommodate a single hero fighting challenges on their own. I would say this, Scarlet Heroes is easily identified as a Kevin Crawford title, like a mini cooper and Volkswagen are both smaller car options, but like the two cars, WWON and SH are very different in their implementation. I hope that helps.
Printer is an old HP(like 10 years) and the laminator I picked up at Wal-Mart(discount store if you aren’t from the states) for less than $20 several years ago.
I did for my Worlds Without Number book, basically just the highest weight paper at the local big box store. Otherwise, I just use the cheap stuff. I figured with a near 400 page document I was going to use premium paper for the best results.

Great to see it being used by you Otherwise, I love the system, the very dark tone of its adventures and the tools provided in some of the books that are system-agnostic. The Hyperborea classes are like AD&D classes that you would see in Dragon magazine. Flavorful specialized versions of the classes you know. The thief uses d12 for thief skills (the most unloved of the standard 6). They have better success odds. I will check my email!
