I still wish we could get them together again… I feel like we were always robbed of seeing them fully as a couple… Theses 2 always had such amazing chemistry together for such a long time … Rebecca and Jonathan no matter how many years you haven’t acted together you still have this sparkle …
I agree. Lucky and Elizabeth were amazing until "the fire" then they recasted Lucky and it all went downhill and when Jonathan Jackson did return as Lucky they already had Elizabeth sleeping with Nikolas (although those scenes of Lucky confronting Elizabeth and Nikolas were gold acting wise). I'm all for giving Lucky and Elizabeth another chance if it's done right.
I love that there's a long scene written for them. Like the ole days. Today they get seconds. Nice! This could be the key to becoming # 1 again like the 80's. Keep it up!
Love this scene. Miss them. JJ and RH still have amazing chemistry. It's kind of funny how all three of Liz's Baby Daddies enjoy/enjoyed dodging bullets 🤣
I understand why people don't want Lucky and Elizabeth back together but damn JJ and RH still have amazing onscreen chemistry. I really blame the writers for how they've written Lucky when it comes to his absence. Lucky loved being a father so much so he was a father to 2 kids who weren't biologically his and then what he wanted more than anything was to have a son with Liz and when he finally got his wish he takes off? It was only when JJ decided to leave GH they completely did a 180 on his character so people wouldn't care if he was gone. And not knowing if JJ would come back they didn't put too much thought into what they would do if JJ decided to return as Lucky. Like they could've at least discussed Lucky coming back (offscreen of course) to visit or having Aiden visiting him. Lucky being written as a deadbeat dad was just so out of character for someone who wanted to be a father and not be like his dad at all.

@crystalsnow1138 You're welcome. I hope they bring back Will Lipton/Cameron after Lucky returns home. Maybe at Christmas. I remember how much Lucky loved Cameron, Jake, and Aiden. So I'd like to see Cameron come home to confront Lucky. I think JJ and Will Lipton would be great in those scenes.
Amazing acting! This scene is so powerful. Introspection at its best. Lucky being his father. Also a great set up for when he comes home and finds Liz a different person than when he left. Shattering his expectations and maybe making something different of their relationship. Please not romantic. But finally that real friendship they’ve always had. Welcome back, Lucky! We missed you.
Lucky obviously loves Liz but I don't think Liz would take him back so easily. If they do get back together I think it needs to be a slow re-build. But in my opinion Rebecca Herbst and Jonathan Jackson still have amazing onscreen chemistry.

@@Babygirlly555 Of course, but Lucky has said repeatedly he still loves Elizabeth despite her cheating. Even when he was married to Siobhan you could tell he still had love for Elizabeth, but knew it wasn't a good thing for them to be together even when Liz begged him for another chance.
@@Babygirlly555For the record it was Lucky cheating with Maxie that led Liz to Jason's door. She walked in on Lucky with Maxie in their home and went to Jason's immediately after for someone to talk to and they ended up sleeping together.
exactly!! and jj left gh last time because they told him lucky/elizabeth would get back together and they didn't do it and he was very unhappy with the storyline which is why he left so I definitely think they'll do them again because why have him dream of her if they weren't?? or have her repeatedly talk about him and he's not even home yet?? so I definitely believe romance will happen! I hate liason with a burning passion I don't wMt them pls no give me l&l2!!! I did like LiRic but they ruined them imo I only want l&l2 the only other one I loved was friz then they killed him ugh but yes give me l&l2 they are soulmates imo!!
I wasn't crying or anything with this scene, but it was moving in a sense with Elizabeth chewing Lucky out in his hazy hallucination as incentive to come back home to Aiden and probably herself too. Even though she seems on the fence about his return, I'm pretty sure ultimately, once she sees him, she'll be ready to reunite Aiden's family after all these years. I can see this happening. They aren't called "old flames" for nothing because once the flame's lit, the fire of an old love usually never burns out.

It'll take big leaps to get me back to that love I had for Lucky and Liz, but maybe they can do it. Jonathan and Rebecca are amazing together in scenes. They're right up there with Genie and Tony

Rebecca started as a Rebel Teenager in September 1997 but got Raped in February 1998which kickstarted the love between Liz & Lucky . He discovered her in the bushes after she had been Raped . Really makes my heart Sooo happy to see them together again ❤❤😊😊🎉🎉

Ugh, so good! Lucky is like a “talented and gifted” kid-with Luke’s legacy looming over him, it created expectations no one could meet (not even Luke).
I’m sorry the writers never gave Jason and Elizabeth a decent on going love story… SB and RH had and still have fabulous on and off screen chemistry. Their real life friendship carries over to their brilliant scenes together, past and present.
Very much agreed, don’t feel like they ever got a full, fair shake. It’s tough because Becky and Steve really do have incredible chemistry too, I loved her and Jason’s dynamic. It was entirely different from anything else on the canvas. (I admit I have always shipped LL2 more, but after JJ left it wasn’t the same with the Lucky recasts imo.) But, the truth is, Carly was and is probably Jason’s soulmate… even though he loved Elizabeth, I still think he always chose Carly first. But I agree, Liason never got a full, true shot from the writers.

I'm not understanding how everyone is founding Lucky location and Laura and Kevin haven't 😂😂😂 Now Jason and Anna have made it out there to found and rescue him and Laura and Kevin left over a week or so and not being showing if they in Africa close to founding Lucky. Guessing once Jason, Anna and Holly break him free... that's when Laura and Kevin will show up 😂😂😂😂😂. Hope they haven't been captured and that's why Laura not answering her phone.

I vividly remember Lucky rescuing Elizabeth after she was raped… they were absolute magic then, and they’ve still got it now. Over 25 years later and JJ and RH really are out here making me ship L&L2 all over again!

I enjoy Jason too but not with him. Where are Laura and Kevin.? Friday was great show well the week was great. Oh also love Drew, Cameron Alot. With Drew i like him and Nina. I like both characters but this was a toxic ass couple that betrayed each other up and down Port Charles. No clue what’s the consensus but I do not want these two together. They were great before all that adultery from both of them. No thank you….
It was he lost his job as a police officer because of pills and drugs. Cheat on her with Sam . The only time lucky was s good dad was when Cam was a baby he was there for Elizabeth and very good to Cam. Zander is Cam biological dad

These scenes did not work for me. Liz and Lucky are not the same characters anymore. Apparently, all the characters are not the same anymore. I think that’s the issue? The way things were set in motion after Burton returned broke characters for the sake of plot. In a nutshell: Story direction? Boring, played out, repetitive. Scenes: Flat. Dialogue: Plot driven not character driven. Summary: Before you hire vets to dismantle the show, remember what you wrote. Audience does not forget. Second, once you plot drive a show, characters no longer exist. Their value deteriorates- and so actors become expendable. In truth: a fan base can easily be tricked into rooting for what they don’t want. That seems to be the case in the overall story arc. Be careful for what you wish for.
Personally I don't care if they put Liz and Lucky together I haven't watched them long as they're not putting her with Jason am good. Also the only time I watched Lucky was with Siobhan I think that was her name when his brother was on don't know anything else like where the hell he was that part definitely missed me
I would recommend watching Lucky and Elizabeth scenes from the 90's when they were teens, their friendship to romance storyline was beautiful and you will see what made them so special. And having Rebecca Herbst/Elizabeth and Jonathan Jackson/Lucky back onscreen together is a dream come true for me personally. But I hated how they wrote Lucky and Elizabeth when Lucky was played by Jacob Young and Greg Vaughn, they really destroyed something so beautiful.

You’re so right that they wrote him completely OOC after that, and the recasts never came close to JJ (no shade to JY and GV, lol) mostly because of the writing imo. He just wasn’t Luke and Laura’s son anymore. And then having Elizabeth cheat with Nikolas was absolutely OOC for her too, I was disgusted with that whole plot line. Anyone watching from the 90’s knew the bond Nikolas and Lucky forged, and the LL2 love story… watching the writers decimate it was just the worst.

I really sincerely hope not. I love NGL and she has done a wonderful job portraying addiction IMO, but I HATE seeing Alexis off the wagon. It’s painful.
Lucky still looks like a little kid. I always felt he overacted a bit. Tried to hard to be the kid who learned how to bob & weave most of his life. Liz & Jason were way more interesting to watch.

No I watched their relationship and it was not all of that. He slept with Maxie while on drugs. Liz slept with Nicholas and Lucky's cuss out whew honey best scene ever ya hear me! Yes long overdue. Liz was raped as a teenager and she was secretly promiscuous and always sleeping around with someone else's man, his brother there's plenty she's just like the rest of port chuck full of hoes. So I don't know what you are romanticizing but I never liked them together and still don't. I was ecstatic when lucky moved on. I actually like him and Maxie better and wish they had a chance without the drugs and chaos. I felt she did love him and just didn't know how to handle his drug habit. But again that's me. As a writer this show is trash😢has been for a long time. I only came to see Lucky because he was the best actor on here back in the day. And he still looks the same. ❤ Cutie
