Thank you for sharing this, sounds beautiful!! Between 2:16 and 2:44 your playing a C Am G Em, but what are those chord voicings called and where can I find how to play more of those type of chords for the rest of the fret board? Thanks again!!
I think you just made something click in my head for my playing. I couldn’t. Match up the fretboard correctly. Or maybe navigate is a better word. NM I probably misunderstood what you said. So you are only playing C Am G ‘Em? No matter where you are it will be one of those chords?
Hi, for playing over the 4-5-6 chord progression. You could use some of the riffs from 4:51 in this video, then the chord shapes from 5:30, just put them in the right progression order. Hope that helps. Also check a couple of my other videos and lots of the riffs with also work over the different progression, just change a single note here of there to fit the chord movement.
Hi Lanielyn. My reverbs are Boss RV-6 & TC Mini HOF, check out my other video showing my pedals. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--x1fSiIjjvg.html
Damien Mitchell hey thank you. I’m using two reverbs together, Boss RV-6 and TC Mini-Hof. I use the HOF with the standard plate reverb and on the RV-6 I use the Dynamic setting.
There are a few components to finding top christian guitar courses. One plan I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Worship Fixer Formula (google it if you're interested) it's the best blueprint that I've seen. Check out the awesome info .
Susan Bangsoy it’ll be quite hard to create the same sound without the effects as the effects mean you can play less notes and the notes keep ringing. Without effects you’ll need to play more notes but if you practice muting and the dynamics within your playing you’ll be able to still carry some of the riffs (however they’ll still sound different) sorry I don’t have a better answer for this.
sometimes i palm mute the strings but it sounds i dont know i cant explain, well its hard to have a good worship atmosphere the way I want my team to be, well just gonna do it by faith 😂. please do more videos, you are very helpful
Susan Bangsoy if you’ve got a wammy bar on you guitar you can finger pluck and wammy each chord to make a nice ring, you can also do chord inversions and wammy them. At my church our acoustic guy also likes to play during spontaneous and sometimes certain riffs sound pretty good with the clean acoustic, don’t worry to mess around during rehearsals and find a pattern different than in this video! At our rehearsals I almost never play the song exactly how it is, always messing around trying to find a way to make it our own! Don’t be afraid!
Hi, I have a video with an overview of the effects here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--x1fSiIjjvg.html Mainly the Timeline and Boss RV-6 for the ambient sounds.
