Worship Guitar Tone Essentials: Line 6 Helix Tone Training 

The 1/4” outputs on the Helix are balanced, just like the XLR outputs. So if you use a 1/4” TRS cable you can go direct to FOH without needing a DI box. But if you use an UNbalanced 1/4” TS cable then you need a DI box.
