This is powerful because it is for Jesus 🙌 Music without God is only music, but music with God is praising, it’s heaven worship. For dance it’s the same: dance without lyrics that praise God it’s just like any other dance. K-pop and others. But when the dance is for Jesus it is another level. It has the power of bringing God’s presence. I started crying when I watched the beginning. Hope this academy will keep bringing God’s presence through worships
Beautiful! It inspires me to tell you my story! I have never had any dance classes except for a semester of ballroom dancing and country line dancing in college. However, I intend to start auditioning for dinner theaters in my area- for musicals. One of the things I have to do is make a video of myself dancing. I love God. I want my dance reel to glorify Him! ...Before I became Catholic, I went to a Pentacostal church. There is a song that I have loved for years! When my husband and I got married, we played it during our wedding reception. Since then, I am a CNA who works for older people in their homes, and I cared for someone in the composer's family before he died. This was around the beginning of the pandemic. Let me tell you the lyrics. It is called "You Are God." "You stepped down in the darkness, into eternal night. Your voice, a thousand thunders, calling forth the light. I've never learned ballet, or jazz, or modern dance. I don't have the money to get lessons. But, there are free RU-vid videos to teach you the basics. I think I can afford to buy a wall mirror! I'm going to start right away! I need to strengthen my core before I attempt ballet, though! But, there are exercises I can do to accomplish core strengthening! I want to do this!
