@@amylizama_ Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. In other words, Jesus never sinned but he died for our sins. He paid the fines for our sins. That’s so crazy because we sin so much in our daily lives! He rose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit! Jesus was sent by God because He’s God’s own son! He was filled with the Precious Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) so He had the power over sin! We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! Thank you. I have been taught myself and I play in church. I can't read music but I learned the number system and I hear chords and some melody but I wanted something that was "fancy". This sounds beautiful added to my songs and took a few minutes to understand. Can't wait to try it out tonight in church.

I'm so amazed by expert instrument players... They can take such a simple thing and make it so beautiful! While my mind appreciates all that they do, the tricks they share with all and so on, it still somehow fails to reproduce even these simple exercises. I can produce the music in my head, or even my voice, but not on an instrument. But the good news is, as long as these players post videos, I can listen and enjoy.

Just watched a bass lesson the other day, and the guy suggested walking around a root note, in this case playing the B, then the G#, then the A, along with the upper and lower E's, or any pattern of those three notes. You could do the same for either of the other two notes in the triad, e.g., the D, then the F#, then the E (walking around the 5th). Very cool, thanks for these tips.

I’ve been classically trained since I was a kid (piano is not my main instrument but I played it through college) and for years I just could not get my brain around this. I even spoke with a classically trained pianist and she ran into the same issues when starting on the worship team, she was supposed to teach me but we ended up moving, but she shared the same struggle, that we just cannot get our brains around it 😂 but you just made it SO clear and simple thank you a TON for this! ❤

Simple tips/tricks are always useful. Thank you! Do you have a simple run or riff to use in the space where a big bridge ends (it built up) then leads back into the chorus? An example would be in the song Great Are You Lord. The bridge ends with "Great are You Looooooord" (need a filler here) then to the chorus "It's Your breath, in our lungs . . . ".
