don't tell my dad, Mario, but I used to use every single one of his 2013 Mondeo ST 2.2 Diesel Wagon's 200 horsepower. that much for manual diesel wagons haha (car was and is stock, he loves it and never sold it)
Kill meee! You are funny 😊 Me personally I quite like these, I could be a bit biased owning an E92. Do you like the current BMW design language with the super ugly big grills better?! 🤮
@@swisscarguy I have to say that is teh most weird thing I have seen, only because it became unlawful for people to use mobile phones and so BT was just added by all manufacturers. Even my 2011 Toyota Verso had it as did my 2005 BMW 320ci
I think that the 525d might have been shit (i think it was the 2.0 liter engine, if it a 3.0 then disregard this bcs the 3.0 was a good engine.), but the 535d was truly great, i myself had an e90 330xd but the 35d was just better. The M57 engine was really reliable with good power and decent economy.
Maybe I'm to obsessed, but apart from all things you listed (BMW, diesel, manual) I would add dirty interior as another pet peeve. If your friend loves BMW so much, we doesn't he clean them? ;)
i owned my 525 tourer for 5 yrs,now with 188k on the clock. totally reliable and you have the cheek to call it ugly. have you no mirrors in your house?
I came to this channel from Jayemm who gave a sneaky shout out to you in his LS600HL review. Loving all your content that I've seen so far! Informative, useful videos about cars that I personally have never really considered... for example here on the east coast of the US I have never even seen a Ls600HL, and maybe 1 or 2 e61 wagons. Thank you for delivering the info in such a charismatic way, often on a backdrop of beautiful scenery as a bonus! This channel deserves more likes, subs, and views!
not biased but hard to maintain in the US (easier in Europe, yes yes)+ also been in an accident (at least, on the driver front side color is not matching). agree w Mario, big no no
I love the e60 sedan 525Dauto! Mine was a ‘07 3.0d, 250hp and 500Nm, the perfect combo of engine and trans. Monaco blue and light leather. Everybody warned me against e61 because of trouble with the back door, both electrical and regarding rust.
I used to think they were well hated, and for good reason too. Then a big daddy M5 came my way for way cheaper than a comparable GTi. Might be best car I’ve ever owned, people love it, very fast and looks good. The bengal butt has aged well. And hey it gives GTR’s a run for their money, seats 4 and has massage seats ;) do you find the M5 styling the same as on plebeian E60’s? Never thought I would get any compliments on it as I bought it out of need and for the drivetrain, but here we are 🤷♂️
A rather positive review (except for your opinion on it's look), which makes me wonder why you would include in the title "Worst car ever? ...." . Many diesel touring cars that are 15 years old with 140k+ kilometres aged a lot worse (Passat), but some aged much better (Audi A6, BMW 3-Series). BTW, you forgot to mention the abundance of torque that comes with these excellent BMW turbo diesels.
