Yeah, the dude just looked like he could not have cared less. His only saving grace was that he displayed the flag on the correct lap, unlike that model that they trusted in Canada one year...... Bring back the likes of John Gillanders, who used to enthusiastically flag the Canadian GP from trackside, in a kilt! Now THERE was a flagger!
Lol. I remember that. I almost feel it wasn’t her fault as she’d just be doing what she was told. Tim Cook was probably thinking of how below him that honour was. The chequered flag use to be a spectacle, now it’s just a celeb getting their 15 seconds. A shame really.
I mean it’s Tim Cook. The guy anyways looks so close to retirement. I don’t understand why F1 get clueless celebrities or CEOs to do the flag wave. I’d rather have some system that could randomly choose a passionate fan to do it. Unless it’s people like Rowan Atkinson or Jeremy Clarkson who actually seem passionate about cars and F1.
