I really wish they would just rebuild the original Morbid Manor! I would love to see it again! I never got the chance to ride it because it burned down only months before I was born. Bill Tracy’s Haunted House is SUPER hard to compete with especially now the Trimper’s family is caring for it so well in recent years. Hope Jolly Rogers considers just bringing back the old Morbid Manor!
@@Cr4z3d Yep! So the Original Morbid Manor opened sometime in the 70s and burned down in early 1996. I know my Dad said he went a few times in his 20s in the early 1980s and said it was cool! Had live Actors and 2 stories. It was on the pier. I think he said Trimper’s Haunted House was still the best but he said Morbid Manor was really awesome too.
@@that_pinball_metal_dood169 That's really interesting, I thought Morbid Manor was just a modern addition that was an extremely poor attempt at competing with Trimpers Haunted House right next door lmao, turns out it was a spiritual successor to an original ride that is also terrible at being that. The modern one has _sort of_ improved over the years, but it's in no way worth the absurd price that they ask, especially when Trimpers is right next door, with 2 original Bill Tracy attractions available for much less.
@@Cr4z3d Right! Trimpers is super fortunate to have two of the greatest dark rides on the planet! I am such a big Haunted House fan haha I have a portrait of it in my home😎
@@that_pinball_metal_dood169 Found some actual footage of it! If you look up "Ocean City, MD -August 1987," you can actually see some shots of the exterior at 23:40. The OCHH and oceancity websites each have an article on it too.
